We just stopped in for the first time to have some dinner. We were very impressed with our experience. The staff was friendly and great to talk to. The food was delicious. We had the pulled pork, ribs, mac-n-cheese, fried okra, Cole slaw, Brunswick stew, and also jalapeño poppers for appetizer. I enjoyed the atmosphere and would have stayed to enjoy Cole Jackson play, but was tired from being on the road all day. And the restroom was clean. We will definitely be back!

As far as style and looks this place has it. It’s impressive and feels like a good Barbecue place. The food though, well let’s say average to below average.
The chopped pork must have been in a warmer and sitting there for some time. The amount of grease in the pork was unsettling. You can see in the photo the pool that was forming. If pressed the pork oozed. We did not finish it. We were sad.
It could have been just a bad day at the OK Corral and we just happened to get the bottom of the serving tray.
Other than that all else was satisfactory.
They will get one more visit and we’ll see if it is better but for now, disappointment.

How very disappointing. We were hoping for a great bbq spot, where we could support a mom and pop,local restaurant. The gentleman who greeted us was really friendly and helpful. 1st red flag, there were plenty of empty tables. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw, and Brunswick stew. We had an hours drive home with the BBQ. Our 2nd red flag was that we couldn’t smell the bbq. The brisket was dry and chewy, the pulled pork was tasteless and chewy, the slaw was just chopped green cabbage and mayonnaise, no seasoning. The Brunswick stew tasted straight out of the can, and the bbq sauce tasted like ketchup, vinegar, and pepper. Sadly, we won’t be back.

Good stuff right here. We got some pulled pork and some brisket both were great the hot BBQ sauce is great. The sweet potato souffle was great. Karen was the best she made the visit worth it.

Sub par at best. Overcooked hot dog and a piece of bread with butter on it is what passes there for garlic bread. Fries are undercooked and cold. Brisket is good.
