Our waiter was so kind and attentive while taking our drink orders and food orders. It was our first time dining here. We were really craving Thai food. This hit the spot, Pad Thai and Panang were delicious, fresh, and generous portions. Thai beer was good too.

The menu offers many selections, which we plan to try at some point. If you have shellfish dietary restrictions, I did notice there were items cooked in an oyster base, so read the ingredients. They also have a lunch buffet, with special pricing 1-2-3 entree choices.

The seats were old and the padding was worn, so not very comfy, which is my only suggestion for improvement! Otherwise we loved the atmosphere, cool lighting choices, and eclectic mixture of wood and metal walls.

We parked right in front of the restaurant where the main entrance is, ground level. The parking lot is fairly small.

It’s located close to TTU campus.

Great bistro find for delicious, Thai food.

Definitely the best Thai food I’ve had in Cookeville!
Today was the grilled chicken Pad Thai(pad Thai roasted chicken), green shrimp curry and tofu Pad Thai. An order spring rolls and Thai tea.
Every single thing was spot on! I eat a lot of Thai food and this place rocks.
The gentleman running the place was super organized and quick with orders.
I have zero complaints or suggestions(rare)…. It was that good!
I was scarfing down the spring rolls when I realized I hadn’t taken any pictures. There are 5 to an order

It was all good, and the owner was extraordinarily friendly. I got the Pad Thai (thai spicy) beef strips, and a taro root desert and enjoyed all of them. It was so good it made me write a review for the very first time

Rice Thai Bistro has authentic Thai food. Jason the owner was very attentive and friendly. We went there for lunch and ordered; chicken satay, papaya salad, tom yum soup, coconut soup and fried rice. It was all great but a little pricey. My favorite dish was the papaya salad. So refreshing! ️

Boast Rice Thai Bistro Cookeville TN this was some of the best Thai that we’ve had. I’m not sure why they have less than 200 followers.

We were sat immediately & the service was fantastic.

We ordered the $6.00 : Spring Roll (5 pc)
• Deep fried vegetable wrapped in roll dough, served with Sweet & Sour Sauce.
My friend Charity loved them, giving them a 10/10. I would have preferred them to be a little softer 9/10. The sweet & sour was delicious.

We both ordered the #19 Pineapple Fried Rice
• Choice of meat stir fried with Broccoli, Carrot, Cashew Nuts, Curry powder, Egg, Onion, Pineapple, Raisin, Salt, and Sugar.
• $13.95: Sliced Beef or Sliced Chicken or Sliced Pork or Fried Tofu or Veggies
• $14.95 : Shrimp

I ordered mine with chicken & she ordered hers with beef. Both of them were very tender. They definitely do not let you go hungry here. We had so much food we have leftovers for lunch. We added the sweet & sour to the mixture.. what was good to begin now changed it to absolutely delicious.

We will definitely be back!

Rice Time Bistro is incredible! We just finally tried this place tonight and the experience overall was worthy of 5 stars. The only reason I wasn’t able to give the full 5 was their fryer is broken and they were not able to make egg rolls, tempura, or any fried items, which we were looking forward too.
I will be back and will happily give that extra star when the fryer is fixed. The only other reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars is they were out of almost all of their drinks. They only had 1 coconut mango milk left, which we bought and it was really good.

Now let’s get into the good part, the food!
The portion sizes were monstrous! Well worth the price. The curry’s were incredible. I will say they could of been more spicy, but the flavors were out standing. The fried rice was also really good. The monster fried rice is supposed to be “extremely hot/Thai hot” and I’d say maybe equivalent to taco bell fire sauce, so the heat level didn’t impress me much, but the flavor blew me away. Everything was really well seasoned.

They are not stingy with the tofu either. Great vegetarian and vegan options. The hot bar is not very veggie friendly though. Gotta go to the menu for the goods. The garlic chili oil is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Our server was really awesome. Very nice guy. Love that they have outdoor seating! The ambiance is great.

Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere good to eat in Cookeville!

they were very considerate with my allergen: eggs. the food was delicious and they gave us two free samples of different teas. one was red and another was blue that turned purple when lime juice was added which was rlly cool. after the service a chef came to give us a sample of some sort of fruit. all the samples were delicious as well as the food. 10/10 recommend.

The service is tops. We had appetizers of spring rolls, the panang curry with tofu, and the pad mee Tom yum with pork. The spring rolls were larger than most and very crispy. Both main dishes were tasty, but the tofu needed to be individually seasoned and had a little bitter aftertaste.

Most authentic Thai food we’ve had in Tennessee, even better than any place in Nashville! Cozy atmosphere and friendly owners. All the desserts are yummy, recommend the sago in coconut milk and the taro bua loi. Only salad we tried was Yuk Khao Tod with shrimp, amazing! Tried several of the chef’s specialties, coffee duck was a little dry, the rest were great, especially the lamb, the Miracle Beef and the Nam Ngiao with ribs. Also try the Kao Soi noodle soup. Dogs welcome on the patio
