Yesterday, I picked up food at Hub Thai, a small business I truly love and support. I come here often, both to dine in and order to-go, because the food is consistently delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff always make you feel welcome.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I really wanted to leave 5 stars for a place that means a lot to me.

On 12/17 around 1:00 PM, while waiting for my order, I witnessed an uncomfortable situation. Three staff members stood together, patiently listening as a middle-aged man harshly criticized the Watiess recipe, saying it had too many ingredients and tasted too sweet. The staff tried to explain the dish and even offered alternatives, but he did not allow them space to speak and threatened to leave a Google review.

It was awkward to witness, and as someone who genuinely loves this restaurant, I felt bad for the team. I just wanted to show my support and appreciation.

Hub Thai, we truly love you. Your food brings us back again and again, and your team handles tough moments with so much patience. Please keep doing what you do. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Literally the best Thai spot in Manhattan for drunken noodles, fried bananas, mango ice tea, and customer service. The servers are always very attentive and amazing. The drunken noodles are never dry, instead they are smooth and melts in your mouth with every bite. The spice is there but it’s also not overwhelming.

And now the thing I always keep coming back for the fried bananas are the best out of all Thai spots I’ve had. And now they are adding a little whip cream and chocolate? I’m absolutely in heaven and fully recommend this spot anytime you are in town.

Sadly, I live in the Bronx now and can no longer enjoy this spot on the weekly but it’s my go-to Thai spot.

Nice neighborhood spot. Came with a group of 10 people for lunch and they were very accommodating even though I know it’s not easy to host large groups because of the space. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and service was excellent. Love this place for lunch and will return.

Top-tier Thai food. Prices are fair (about $15 for a dish like Pad Thai as of June 2025, if I recall). Comfortable seating especially the cushioned benches that are the main 4-seat tables against the wall (but there are more tables too). Fast and courteous service.

Solid good spot in East Village that can seat a large group without a reservation! I appreciated that they made my drunken noodles with less sauce after I requested

Everyone likes everything. Service is super friendly and fast. The Thai jerky was incredible – all the fried rices ordered was flavorful as it was traditional. Wifey likes the Tom Yum so if she’s happy – I’m happy.

I’ve been a Hub Thai customer since 2019, and their quality of food and service has definitely improved! I adore their interior decor and seating which give a relaxing vibe whenever I dine in at Hub Thai.

Their Pad Thai is always delicious with just the right amount of sauce, and noodles are prepared very well. Amazing lunch overall!

In the establishment. There is really good food! The service can be a bit sketchy. As the lady who gets the Uber eats pick up order was very rude and disrespectful. Dealing with food you should have a decent amount of genuine communication. This is only my second time eating from the place and I hope this will change!

Thai place in alphabet city! The staff was very friendly and attentive. They do take out or dine in. Cute place. I like the floral decor. Food was ok for me. It’s not bad at all so if you are in the area you should check them out anyways.

Good food and good service. Our go-to Thai place. Price is competitive and music isn’t loud, so you can have a nice talk. Give this place a try.
