Food was great, service was horrible. My girlfriend and I came for dinner and were met with a waiter who gave us kids’ cups as compared to the rest of the other tables, and were never offered refill. He poked fun at us in a way that made us a little uncomfortable, and smacked me on the head with my girlfriend’s wallet after checking her ID for a drink. He proceeded to ignore us all night. He came by 25 minutes after our food was served to ask how our food was, without stopping or waiting for a response from either of us. Wouldn’t stop when I made eye contact or attempted to flag him down to give us our check so we had to find the menu and leave cash accordingly. Avoid this place please.

Came here on a whim and Finnegan’s far exceeded any expectations we had! It was a fun place to watch the game and the food was great and very filling. We had the poutine, Reuben Sandwich and Guinness stew and each dish hit the spot. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the decor was entertaining and there’s a decent selection of beer on tap.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home.The food was excellent—hearty portions, full of flavor, and served hot. It’s the kind of place where you can relax with family and friends, enjoy good food and drinks, and soak in the great energy. It was lunch time, only a few tables of patrons. The clam chowder was good, but the fish tasted like burnt oil! Guinness stew was good. Whween asked “what’s good” the waitress wasn’t entirely forthcoming with a helpful answer. Maybe there’s an “unspoken rule” inn restaurants, that waitresses shouldn’t actually give a recommendation? IMO the waitress is the sales person and should be able to sell you the food to make money for the restaurant!
