We just moved to the area and have been looking for actual pizza. I’m from NJ and been here for 3 years and this is the best n closest thing to pizza I know of. I will never order from another pizza place. Can’t wait to try their other foods. I was told it would probably be an hour n 30 min wait before I got my food. I was so hungry that I did not care. The food was here in 45 mins and it was still piping hot and sooooo delicious.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used to come to this place all the time until recently. Their pizza is literally RAW! I ordered a pizza and cheese bread sticks for takeout and when I got home all I could see was dough. All the vegetables were falling off. I called them and explained the issue. They said they could remake it or give me store credit. I said to give me store credit for next time. After about two weeks I call to put in an order and use my store credit. The lady on the phone was VERY RUDE. She said my name for store credit was not in their “book.” But luckily I remembered the guys name from before who gave me store credit. She made a big scene by calling him and putting him on speaker phone (very unprofessional) asking if he remembers anything about a store credit for a doughey pizza and cheese breadsticks and he admitted that was correct. I was on the phone with her for about 15 minutes talking to her just to get my order in. She said some remark over the phone like “just making sure you actually have store credit or we’ll be giving away free pizza all the time.” It was almost as if she thought I was making this up. Anyway, my husband went to pick it up and we only received a pizza, no cheese breadsticks. The lady told my husband “she only had store credit for the pizza” when clearly I got store credit for my whole order and that’s what we were talking about when I initially called them. Anyway, when my husband got home *SURPRISE SURPRISE* the pizza was still not done!! It was literally raw pizza dough again! We ended up throwing it in the trash and it’s safe to say I will never be going there again. There’s pizza perfect down the road. See attached picture for my doughey pizza

We ordered a variety of pizzas and enjoyed every kind. I especially loved the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and the regular cheese was also fantastic. The style of crust is my favorite. The friendly and fast service was appreciated, making this an overall great experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Food and price points are normally great. However Google and their website both list them as open. Drove here to find they changed their hours without posting. Today is Tuesday, new hours are shown on the door showing closed yet they have the open sign displayed.

Wonderful pizza and amazing people! Making this review so others know this place is now unfortunately closed, but they have a restaurant in Lyman and I’ve ate there for 10 years and it’s always the best!

Trey and Chris the managers of Pepperoni Express @ Lake Bowen and Lyman are great at keeping up customers happy! They are willing to go out of their way to make things right if you are not satisfied. We need more local businesses that are like this. Good food fast service and phenomenal customer service! BEST Pizza and wings in the upstate.

My wife and I ate here for the first time late Sunday night. The restaurant was nice and seemed very clean. It’s not a romantic joint, but the room was fairly low lit. The service was first rate for a place of this caliber. The waitress was pleasant and attending. The food come in a reasonable amount of time, not fast but it IS a sit down restaurant where they cook your food. At least I had good company 🙂
We ordered a large Monster pizza ( I think that’s what it was called ), one water and one tea. We were both shocked how good the food was. To be honest we didn’t expect much, we really just stopped in to rule out another eating joint. The ingredients seemed of good quality with lots of flavor. The bill? $14!!
We’re ordering eight pizzas from here for our child’s birthday party. If the food is a flop I’ll let your know. Far as I know we’ll be back!

I have purchased from here on different occasions. I like that they have the giant size for pizza, makes it easier to feed a bigger group of people. I have not had any issues with the pizza. I also had the calzones, maybe 4 or 5 of them. The last one I had was not so good, the dough was not baked all the way.

While picking up food back in April I applied for a open position for a inside cashier/driver and honestly wasn’t expecting to fall in love with a place, a job and the people like I have. The owners, the managers and the employee’s from both locations are some of the greatest people I’ve ever been blessed to meet and thoroughly enjoy being a part of this growing business. The customers I encounter are amazing and I feel fortunate to be able to serve them! Thank you pepperoni express for treating me like family and making work so enjoyable!!!
