We were excited to try this new coffee shop after hearing a lot of positive buzz. My son and I stopped in together. He ordered an iced chai latte and a pastry. He usually orders chai lattes wherever we go and rarely has any complaints, but this one tasted very mild almost like cold milk with little chai flavor. His pastry was also a bit dry.
I ordered a hot caramel macchiato and a pastry. My pastry was good, though the drink itself was only lukewarm rather than hot.
While the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations this time, we hope things improve as the shop settles in and wish them the best.

Came on a Sunday at 11am. Waited in line for 15 minutes and then the coffee came out at 11:50. After 15 minutes happy to find a place to sit. Ordered coffee for eat in, and they put it in paper cups. Had to ask for a mug and then pour it in myself which destroyed the entire essence of the foam milk on top. Cappuccino was only whole milk, cream, almond or oat. All pastries were pretty much gone. Overnight oats was pretty good. In a plastic container. Cappuccino was sub par. Little flavor and just looked like milk on top with little foam. Hot chocolate was just OK. Chocolate chip cookie was good. Apple pastry good. Just took what was left. Was not worth the 45 minute wait and $23 for 3 small drinks, two pastries and overnight oats. Left and went to lunch somewhere else.

You won’t find a better spot in Greenville. The owners care SO much about this place and it shows in everything they do. The staff is incredible and the pastries are to die for!

Very busy. But very worth it. They offer very diverse baked goods. Homemade syrups. The Baristas are super patient and friendly explaining all the drinks and food we asked about. Would definitely come back if I’m on this side of town.

daydrinkers feels like the quintessential neighborhood coffee shop. People walk in with dogs and babies and it’s just a generally friendly, neighborly experience to be there.
Depending on the day, I might pick daydrinkers as a meeting location, a place to do some focused work for a bit, or a spot to read or journal. The best spot is the table for two by the door, but there’s not really a bad spot in the entire place.
Another bonus, there are almost always allergy-friendly pastry options, like dairy-free cookies or muffins, which are a huge bonus because I have a family member with a dairy allergy and other coffee shops don’t have items they can eat.
If you go on a weekend, you should know to expect long lines and a wait for your drink, because the regulars know it’s worth it.

The aesthetic of this coffee shop was amazing! Outside looked a little sketchy but the inside was beautiful. I had a vanilla latte and it was great. It also was a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend Daydrinkers!

Now that days have passed, I was in town catching up with an old friend. I misread the release of the new drinks (I was a day early); HOWEVER, the owners let us order them anyway! It was so yummy and the cinnamon roll changed my life. What a spectacular first impression. I’d drive from Charlotte again to try more of the menu. 10/10 experience.

my home away from home.
I come here almost every morning because well the coffee is top notch, the syrups are housemade(HELLO), it’s extremely affordable but man, the people… the people are my absolute favorite. You are seen and loved by the people who work here not just as a customer but as a friend.
I always brag that Greenville has the best coffee scene but if I’m honest, daydrinkers is elite.
Thank you Emma, Ava, Alex, Defiance, Fuller, Laura, Miles, Nikki, Katie, Selim, and if I missed anyone I’m sorry you guys make daydrinkers so, so special!!

You won’t find a better coffee shop anywhere in South Carolina and I’m not just talking about the coffee. The owners are genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and they truly care about you and your experience. It’s refreshing to see a business that gives back and supports important causes in the world. When you visit a coffee shop like this, remember that your drink is made with real care and intention. This isn’t Starbucks or Dunkin’, where drinks are rushed out for a quick buck. Every cup here is thoughtfully crafted, and the owners take pride in making sure you have an amazing experience.

Great coffee on one side and great socks on the other side. Myles was very welcoming and helpful picking out our socks.
