What a delightful treat this little red train car is. We noticed it while driving down Union Road and saw the flashing sign for free Mother’s Day sundae with a purchase of another sundae. It was so cute! It looked like an old-fashioned train stop! I got a free Mother’s Day sundae and the whole family bought treats. It was all delicious and we enjoyed sitting there and ate our delicious cold treats. There were other families there and play areas for children. We enjoyed this hidden-in-plain-site visual delight and will definitely go back soon!

The drive thru was a nice plus as we didn’t have to get out of the vehicle. The staff was super friendly. I ordered a turtle sundae. The ice cream did not disappoint. I was disappointed in the fact that we received one napkin for two ice creams. Thank goodness I had some in the glove box. Also my bill came to $12.06… I gave $22.06… I thought I was given two fives as change and didn’t realize it until I got home that it was a five and three singles…

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and I’ve always looked forward to paying a visit. The ice cream is great and it’s a fun place to take the kids. I also noticed they now have a drive through which you never seen in an ice cream stand so it really sets the bar high.

This is one of our favorite ice cream shops in the area. The prices are decent, the soft serve is always so good, and the vibe here is great, with the caboose, train station look, and the sliding train car themed table and chairs

very weird experience!! we just went to this place and first let me say the two kids working there were just fooling around, the guy taking our order was actively eating his own ice cream and laughing with the other girl working WHILE taking our order at the window. We got a peanut butter milkshake and it was legitimately as if someone took one bites worth of ice cream and a single peanut and blended it into a cup of milk. sadly only tasted it after driving away and i honestly wouldn’t have wanted to interact with those kids again anyway ‍♀️

The ice cream is fine, but the prices are absolutely outrageous. This tiny sundae cost over $6 and it’s nothing special at all. Find somewhere cheaper to go!

Sat at the drive thru for over 10 minutes, no one ever came to the door/window. They were not busy so can’t use that as an excuse. When I finally let, there was no one at the windows, but the luckey customers who get served were sitting around eating ice cream. Been a good customer for years, will not be going back, this was their 3rd strike.

Great Lakes Ice Cream has me absolutely addicted—I don’t know what it is, but it’s the creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had. The texture and flavor are unmatched. It is on the pricier side, but the quality makes it completely worth it.
