Used to love Popeyes. Would go at least once a week. That is until they started getting my order wrong literally every time.
After about 5yrs of no Popeyes. I decided to go today. Ordered using the app to make sure there was no miscommunication on what I wanted.
Guess what happened, they got my order wrong again. I will no longer give Popeyes my money at any location.

Recently visited Popeyes food was not what I expected this past Saturday. The chicken was hard and stale wasn’t fresh not one bit. The Cajun rice was maybe a scoop if that. Prices keep rising and food decreasing . Customer service isn’t good at all. Thank God I was just passing through so I couldn’t go back . Give people what they pay for nobody wants a scoop of rice or stale chicken . 9-16-24 went to the one in Deridder, La chicken was burnt had to call them about my order they always messing up for the prices your chicken should always be fresh and not burnt . Called the manager on duty they fixed more chicken to replace it wasn’t to much better. I’ll try chicken depot the next time I want chicken.

Horrible experience, ordered food at 7:06 pm to be picked up at 7:25 pm. At 8:10 we were handed an order that was not ours. Took it into the store and asked for the manager. The shift manager had an attitude as soon as I told her about the problem, and kept asking “what you want me to do, you got your food though right?” After a very frustrated hour we get home and find that our order was wrong again, 2nd time. Will NOT visit again and will warn everyone under as this is not the first time this has happened. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but not repeatedly.

I ordered food from the Popeyes in Deridder, LA expecting the usual quality, but what I received was extremely disappointing. The food tasted old and poorly prepared, and the chicken was uncooked to the point that I couldn’t eat it. Despite that, a few hours later I became sick. This is not just a bad experience; it is a serious health and food safety concern. No customer should ever be served unsafe food. After this experience, I will never come back again, and I strongly hope management takes food handling, cooking standards, and customer safety much more seriously.

I just picked-up my fine in order at the Popeyes in DeRidder. I asked the young lady at the front counter about the limited time fried pickles and blatantly lied to me and said they don’t have any right now. So, I got a 2pc spicy chicken combo. The chicken was very overcooked and cold to the touch. Another young lady walked in and ordered the same fried pickles that they told me they were out of. Suddenly, they had hers fried up fresh. How many complaints does it take before something is done. These people are rude and do not mind cursing the customers out, especially over the phone. If we’re going to pay high prices for mediocre food, at least we can be treated with a little respect.

They really need a management change here. First off, even around the holidays. You should start posting when you will be off. And when your store will be closed, that is common sense. A second of all to just have people start pulling up at your workplace and not even have a sign that says when you are closed is still unacceptable, there are other stores out here posting when they will be open. And when there will be closed for you to close at 6 PM. And then your hours say that you are open until 10 PM. And then you have customers arriving. The last 4 trips to Popeyes in Deridder have not been good. The first trip we were told that they only have spicy chicken. The next trip we were again told they only had spicy chicken. The third trip nobody would even take our order after sitting 15 min trying to order. The last trip after 20min someone finally took our order and the food was over cooked. In each of the trips we watched no less than 5 to 6 cars simply drive away. The 15 min wait and 20min wait to take our order we were the only car there. 2 people sitting inside and us. I would mark how much but 3 out of 4 trips we spent $0 because we drove away.

Literally the worst Popeyes in the entire world. I’ve eaten at Popeyes in other countries, all over the states, and this is the worst one. Staff is always rude, they’re always out of something, and you always have to wait. This isn’t a one or two times review, this is after a few years of many tries. Whether you dine in, drive through, or use a delivery service, it’s always the same disappointment. Hopefully upper management works to improve a southern favorite.
