I was trying out new places in town and thought this one looked like a good option. Upon walking in, I felt that it had a really good vibe. People were clearly enjoying themselves. There’s a large space in the back where people were playing cornhole. I noticed it was quite smoky in there. I’m assuming there’s an issue with their exhaust in the kitchen. Not a huge deal but noticeable. I found myself really wanting to like this place, but the service was pretty bad and there seemed to be issue after issue. First, I asked for chips with salsa and queso. The guy went and stood behind the bar right in front of me for like 10 minutes just to say they were out of chips because they weren’t supposed to be open. Okay. Fair enough. Things happen. I looked over the menu which didn’t have any pricing. I ordered the steak burrito. Then asked if they serve margaritas. He said yes. I asked if I could do strawberry and he went back and checked to see. Came back a while later and said yes. Eventually my food came and the steak burrito was pretty good but very basic. I didn’t have silverware which took quite a while to get. Meanwhile, as I finally finish my food, he brings me my margarita which was honestly just really bad. He said he didn’t have the normal things for it. Then I get my bill and the burrito was $14 which felt a little steep for what it was and the margarita was $7.
Like I said, I want to like this place, but they definitely need to work on a few things. The staff were kind, the food was flavorful, and it had a great vibe about the place. I hope this place fixes the other issues because it could be great. As of now, I’ll order this occasionally for takeout or stop in to have a beer. Definitely won’t be dining in again anytime soon.

Stumbled upon this gem while driving by! The service was excellent and the food was great! Especially the Elotes! I would love to see more options on the menu but I’m sure that will come in time! The owner even stopped to say hello! They also have dance parties every weekend!

I have finally found a place that makes amazing tortas. I ordered the steak fajitas one and boy was I not disappointed. The Al pastor tacos my wife ordered were amazing. The owner/assistant owner, was a joy to talk to. I hope this place of business lasts. Will most definitely come back and try the recommended torta.

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and I enjoyed the cook singing as he must enjoy his job. The waitress/server was the best. Shes fast and friendly. Very hospitable. We will definitely be back.

A little slice of Texas in South Dakota. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were amazing. Great portion size and a great price. Definitely recommend stopping if you are in Rapid City.

Had the best asada torta I’ve ever had here today while out shopping. Looks like there is a venue in the back? Could be a lot of fun if they do live music. Will definitely be back with the family.

This is a neat place with great food. The singing cook was hilarious and gave the whole place a good energy. Will definitely return! I guess on Saturdays it becomes a sort of night club, might have to check that out too.

This is without a doubt to the very best Mexican restaurant in the entire area! The food is authentic, and the staff is amazing and the grocery store next-door is awesome! I recommend everybody try coming here. You will not be disappointed!
