Loved the homemade fries. So good. Had a burger and it was great. Nice soft bun. Cool place. Only knock was it took a long time to get food as they were short on help. Was a little slow on this day for a late lunch so not much atmosphere

Our first time in Livingston and we were just walking down the street looking for some place to eat. The first place was closed so we just walked in here because it said “Fine Food” (and it was open). 🙂 It was a typical bar up front, but in the back dining area, we found a very nice selection of food on the menu, from sandwiches, burgers, salmon, steaks, and more. The burger was huge and very good. Wife ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious. We were very impressed with this place. The food was not only “Fine”, it was “Great”

I love eating here and having a few drinks. Its It’s relaxing and chill, and the food is AMAZING! The staff is incredible and I just want to say thanks to Connie, who served my food and drinks and made me feel amazingly welcomed when she remembered me on my 2nd visit and treated me like family. Definitely going to make the stockman my new go to spot!

Husband is the kind of guy who wants to go to a restaurant and see 3 things on the menu, “breakfast”, “lunch”, “dinner” … their menu is not just 3 things but not overly huge, and he loved that. Family members who met us there also commented the same thought. What we tried, they do very well. Food was great. Staff was super nice and looked like really only 2-3 people covering the restaurant and bar, so if you go be patient and be nice! Reasonably priced. Good food, large portions, and great presentation. We went to see the band they had that night, and it was a great time. Great atmosphere with probably a lot of repeat customers as they all seemed so friendly. We will go again and look forward to another enjoyable night out.

Dark bar feel when you first walk in – not gonna lie I was skeptical at first! But this is our second visit since we’ve been in the area. Came back for the Bison burger with their homemade fries and my husband had the tots. Delicious burgers & cold beer both times. Same waitress, maybe manager/owner, was very attentive, nice and friendly. Will definitely go back again!

I had the prime rib and it was okay; nothing special. The salad that came with it was good with an assortment of greens (not just iceberg lettuce). The mashed potatoes and gravy were definitely hours old and tasted like it. Ilthe service was good; I’m sure it helped that I was the only one there. The atmosphere and food was definitely not of the quality to be charging “market price” for steaks. This was my “second chance” for the Stockman Bar and it wasn’t any better this time (probably wasn’t worse either). Overall, a disappointing experience. I probably won’t be back.
