We went during lunch on a weekend. The food was extremely reasonably priced. I had a tamale plate which only cost $7.99 (Wow)! The food was generous in portions and mine came with the expected refried beans and rice. The flavor was good. Nothing was over or undercooked and it was a genuinely good meal. Our server was funny and personable. I highly recommend it!

I’ve lived in Dallas, TX where the Mexican food scene is like no other. Then I moved to NC and for years I looked high and low for a good authentic Mexican restaurant. And then I moved to KY! And I found what my soul and stomach were searching for. This place is phenomenal!

We were served outstanding sauces with chips while we waited. We had an Asada Burrito and pork Flautas. Both were okay. We also tried a fried pork Sopes that had no flavor. Overall the free sauces were the best part. We took home a chicken enchilada that our daughter said had no flavor.

This place is literally a hole in the wall but is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. I mean that you must try it to know what I am truly talking about. I’ve never had a dish there I didn’t like. The atmosphere is good the service is amazing! Always get the food quickly and it’s hat and fresh. If you haven’t made your mind up yet just do it go here!

We stopped in on a Monday night after traveling the bourbon trail. It was a fantastic finish to our day. Elizabeth was fantastic, assisted by Ashton, they both served us fantastic food and drinks, what a fantastic experience. Dont miss this stop on the bourbon trail!!!

My wife and I stopped in after walking the dogs/hiking various trails in the Versailles/Frankfort area on 6/2. Started with a large bowl of guac along with the complimentary chips and pico. The pico is fresh and tasty and you can definitely tell the tortillas are made fresh as well
My wife had the Tacos Preparados de Adobada while I opted for the Pollo en Salsa. Both had great portions and were delicious. You can get the Pollo en Sala spices to your liking and they have the ingredients to give it some kick. Do yourself a favor and check them out
