Loved it! This is great Indian food and really good prices, delicious and good value. The restaurant being in a former US diner with both 50s American vibes and Indian decor, was just superb. Friendly attentive service too. New fave!

What a great experience last night with my wife and younger daughter at this place. The service was great and the waiting time was short. We enjoyed a Chicken Tikka Masala, lamb Palak Gosht that was great, accompanied with rice and garlic cheese naan bread. The taste and the texture of the rice combined with the sauce makes the palate to dance to the compass of a very varied music selection. Great place for a Friday night family eating out.

I find myself coming back to this restaurant almost every week—it’s become my little escape to the flavors of my ancestral land. Even though I’ve never been to India, the food here somehow makes me feel at home.
This time, I had the special honor of meeting the chef, who prepared a personalized dish just for me—perfectly spiced chicken and vegetables served with fragrant vegetable rice. Every bite was comforting and full of flavor.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit to experience more of the chef’s creative improvisations. This place is truly a hidden gem, filled with heart, soul, and unforgettable taste.

The food was excellent!!! I was seeking authentic Indian cuisine for the eight years I’ve been in Portland, Oregon. The few place I’ve eaten at were rather disappointing, until now. This evening my wife and I shared Samosa’s, Samosa Chat, Butter Chicken, Fish Vindaloo, and Naan (bread). The curry dishes were prepared perfectly, the portions were generous, and the taste was amazingly good. I could not wait to write a glaring review of my, and my wife’s, experience at Naan N Curry…. Finally, I am adding a restaurant to my ‘To-Go-To’ list, rather than writing another one off. The Chef/Chefs at this location (on N. Lombard St) did justice to the authenticity, and legacy of East Indian Cuisine…. I will be back in a few days. I’m chumping at the bit to taste their Channa Masala – the best I’ve ever had was at Akbar’s in Baltimore MD – however, unfortunately they lost their chef, and its been more than 20-years since I’ve tasted anything like it. Every other Indian Restaurant that served Channa was woefully disappointing. This is a restaurant I will trust to try. I look forward to sampling their entire menu and becoming a regular at Naan N Curry on N. Lombard St., Portland Or.

Warm food in a colder area. I like to visit this place while I’m near St. Johns in Portland. I love your punjabi goat curry and Thali.

Take out order placed on DoorDash-The flavor of the butter chicken was good and the naan was amazing but the chicken was tough and very large pieces. Hard to find good Indian food in Portland. Order took 30 minutes from the time placed. It went beyond the time window and I was literally the only person in the place at 7pm on a Friday.

A North Indian, Punjabi affair. You’ll get a taste of Indian Beers if you’re into that. Tandoori and Naans are your go to foods. They have a small Indo Chinese menu too.

Had lunch here today. I choose the lunch combo with 2 curries, veggie and rice and naan. I thought the food was great. Hot when it came to table, the garlic naan was tender and crispy/flakey crust.
It was quiet during lunch, some music would have helped with atmosphere.

Best Indian food we’ve found over 6 years in Portland! Friendly service as well and a good excuse to head to St John’s. The 50s diner vibe is unusual but fun, but the star is the great food.
