Stopped by 2 days ago to pick up my usual oatmeal when on the go. When I removed the lid, I was disappointed to see it was only halfway full. This is not the first time that happens . Been there many time for the past 4 yrs. Surely, I thought they were busy, (as they normally are) , probably we’re rushing to make it. No biggie. I get it. However, this time only like about 1/4 of that half was oatmeal! I had like 3 spoonfuls if that .Not kidding! Not what I was expecting for what I paid plus tip. I know I can get a lot more oatmeal anywhere for a fraction of the price at Local Roots. But I’m one who loves to support our local businesses. Love their food items and friendly service but not sure what is happening here. Maybe oatmeal is not their popular item on the menu. Not sure. But its def not what it used to be. Its disappointing . Not sure I will consider coming back for my oatmeal! Sadly.

Local Roots is such a sweet local spot for some amazing juice and smoothies. I am a creature of habit and get The Bella smoothie just about every visit! I have dairy and nut allergies and love that I can order my smoothie made in the nut-free blender.

10/10!! Cutest place! Small and quaint but incredibly great acai bowls and smoothies, with other munchies available too. PLUS to-go juice and natural “medicianal” options including homemade “shots” with turmeric, ginger etc!

If I were only reviewing the food and drinks I would give this place 5 stars without a doubt. Unfortunately, I have to instead only give 3 stars because of the negative atmosphere created by the young girls running the place. While I sat and waited for my avocado toast to be made, I listened to them make snarky remarks about every single person who walked through the door. Some comments were made after those customers left, others while they were still in the store. Mostly talking about their appearance. They clearly thought they were gossiping quiet enough that nobody could hear but they failed that mission. Not sure if this is more a reflection on the store, these girls parents, society in general, or maybe all of the above? Either way, it’s sad these girls think it’s cool to be judgemental and treat other human beings that way. I promise you it’s not and it says a lot more about you than it does about anybody else! Do better.

Local roots is a wonderful staple in the Perrysburg community. Their adorable location is only surpassed by the quality of their product and service. From juices, to smoothies, and more, Local Roots will be sure to fill you up, while leaving you feeling light and clean with only best quality in ingredients. My daughter and I have been going there since she was old enough to drink a smoothie. She loves the atmosphere, patio, and of course the wonderful kids play area. Local Roots is truly a place for your entire family!
