My friend and I had the set menu and it was so good. Everything was lovely and the waiter was very attentive when I came to topping up the Banchans, sauces, rice and lettuce. The kimchi and pickled radish banchans were really good.
The meats and fish were lovely. The prawns tasted really fresh and the marinated Beef was my favourite from the meats.
I definitely recommend this place, but make sure you are really hungry when you go as the portions for the set menu are very generous. My friend and I are already talking about going back at some point.

Posting this because we went yesterday and I was gobsmacked at how quiet it was! GALBIS KOREAN BBQ is my new fave place it’s on Albert road we found it due to some great reviews and I’m soooo happy we did , it’s so healthy they bring out kimchi etc we did the 27£ per person all you can eat and got dumplings spring rolls prawns pork beef more beef squid chicken and lamb! THE TASTE AND FLAVOUR OF EVERYTHING was unreal so tender aswell some of the best food I’ve had , defo recommend this place clean good service and lovely food

Atmosphere was amazing and our server seems like a nice guy but when you go to a korean bbq place you’d have your own preferences and want to cook the meat at your own pace, usually doing it urself. the service wasn’t great and it was quite annoying since he kept changing the heat of the grill and playing around with it while we were cooking without even saying anything which we found a bit weird. if it was a problem due to the smoking and heat, as a server myself, it would of been better to communicate with the customers instead of doing it awkwardly and silently in the middle of while they are trying to cook, service was disappointing and as well as the food since the the galbi tan soup tasted like just an instant ramen soup packet and was too salty while the seafood pajeon was too thick and just soggy instead of crispy which is the standard,
i’m not the type of person to leave a review and to criticise a small business but the food and service was genuinely disappointing for £60

All the food came out at different times, which would be fine if two of us weren’t still waiting for our mains 30 minutes after everyone else had finished theirs. Some of the food was nice, the rest was disappointing. Won’t be going back.

I contacted the restaurant to arrange the booking, which was straightforward, and they were quite responsive throughout the process.
However, they seemed unprepared for a group of our size. The table assigned to us didn’t comfortably accommodate 10 people. Fortunately, one person cancelled at the last minute, as even with 9 people we still had to ask for an extra chair.
The service was decent, though not particularly quick. We were initially given one set of tongs per grill to share between five people, but additional tongs were provided when we asked. When the grill paper was changed, some oil was spilled onto my boyfriend’s arm, so more care could have been taken there.
Staff were positioned nearby, which was helpful, though at times it felt slightly unnerving. That said, this is understandable given the fire risk.
The Korean BBQ items were tasty and enjoyable overall, though staff did need reminding to bring out some of the dishes. The bibimbap was disappointing in comparison.

We celebrated our sons birthday here yesterday and had the set menu. It was delicious and we all enjoyed the experience of cooking our own food and trying new flavours.

Had an amazing dinner at Galbi Restaurant, and it did not disappoint! We started with the Army Stew, which was a huge portion—perfect for two people. You can even choose your meat to customize it to your liking! We also went for the Korean Fried Chicken, which was crispy and flavorful, paired with fresh pajeori (green onion salad) that added a great crunch. And don’t forget the Chicken Bibimbap—a perfect balance of flavors and textures. To top it off, they threw in a free bowl of rice.
Seriously, the food was delicious from start to finish. We’ll be back for sure!

We visited as a group of five. The food was okay, but the service was truly outstanding. An incident occurred on our table and one of the staff handled it very professionally. Unfortunately, the owner’s rude behavior toward the staff was very noticeable. The staff clearly works very hard and deserves much more respect.

This place does great Korean food in a nice little restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food is really good and having the option to cook it yourself on the grill is a good niche not found in other local restaurants. They also have a range of Korean alcohols available.
It’s a little pricey if you want a full meal, however their set menu option is a good choice on this front. I would recommend booking in advance as they get very busy due to their small size.
