We placed an online pick-up order NOT through the app but via their own website and I proceeded to pick up the order at 7:33 pm. They informed me that they did not have chicken and could not fulfill my order. When I asked how I get my refund, they told me to cancel it through the “app”. I told them I did not place it through the app, and I tried to attempt to file a complaint online and it just keeps telling me once an order is placed, I cannot cancel it and now the support bot said the case was “resolved” and it will no longer allowed me to choose any options for the order. They told me they couldn’t help me and to call a manager in the morning. I asked for proof of a refund or proof of an order cancellation/unfulfillment on their end and he simply wrote a note that they could not give me my order. When speaking to the district manager today, he could not provide me my refund either. He offered to “buy” me dinner, unacceptable. I was ripped off. I was stolen from. I paid for a product that his company REFUSED to give me, and they are REFUSING to give me my money back. That is theft. District manager is supposed to be “looking into” this refund and admitted that there is a lack of communication between the online ordering system and the store itself. I suggest you do not order through the app or their website. Chances of getting food slim, chances of getting your money owed to you, even slimmer.

This store makes you wait for your food, often. They also often mess up orders. I worked in fast food for a long time and I can be understanding…but as often as my orders are wrong – I don’t even want to deal with this restaurant anymore. My husband likes the spicy Swiss and bacon Chicken sandwich and that’s the one that’s always wrong. When the orders are right the food is good. The employees are always very kind and polite. They just can’t seem to get the flow and orders right.

Not trying to discredit any previous reviews but I’ve gone several times now and haven’t had a single issue. I’ve done big orders, I’ve gone outside of normal meal times, etc. but each time the interactions have been kind and my food has been fresh. I also haven’t had any issues with my orders but I also make sure to check my bag before I leave any drive thru. The most that’s happened is missing sauces but they’re quick to fix. Don’t be scared off by reviews like I was for the longest!

On three separate occasions, I have ordered food on the Popeyes app, paid for it, driven to the Clovis store, and been told by the staff at that location that they are “out of chicken” and cannot fulfill my order, and also cannot provide me a refund because I ordered on the app. The process for acquiring a refund involves talking in circles to a chatbot and PRAYING a human sees the interaction at some point and fulfills your request. It’s unacceptable. Don’t patronize this store.

12 hour day, wanted some ” Louisiana spicy ” chicken and the picture I uploaded is what I got.
Not very good, half heartedly made and barely even covered in sauce, service was poor through the drive through.
Should have checked the reviews but I took a chance since the place seemed empty and I lost, don’t be like me just avoid this place. Way way way over priced for the quality and service.
Corporate will just copy and paste the following script as a reply to show how tone deaf and how much they really don’t value your experience, they got your time and money and that’s all they care about.

If I could give it no stars I would. This was the absolute worst experience ever. I paid $11 for this. I couldn’t even eat it due to the tenders being so hard. I placed my son’s chicken nugget next to the tenders to compare the size. Don’t waste your money here.

I am surprised every time I read the reviews for this place. I’ve had to wait before but I don’t mind waiting for fresh chicken. But service has always been similar to any other fast food here for me. But when Ayana is working I am impressed by her. You can tell she cares about her job and she cares about my experience as a customer. It’s so rare to experience that these days that I just had to mention it here.

Husband ordered online, we went to pick it up through the drive-thru as instructed only to be told it wasn’t ready to go inside. Inside, my husband was told they never received the order, couldn’t refund, they couldn’t make it unless they had the ticket. Eventually a manager was called and our food was made and hour later.
The food was signature Popeyes. I don’t know what wings I got, but they weren’t hot for being Habanero. They were sweet and the sauce was more like a thick paste. Flavorful, but didn’t coat the wings. Chicken Tenders have more meat than the wings. Wings have more of the breaded coating.
The drive thru had at least 40 cars go through in an hour though. So I would suggest ordering in person or in the drive thru.
