The food here is a bit below average, the pizza is hard and a bit burnt. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW EXPENSIVE THIS IS. We are a family of 6 so we got 2 pizzas 1 cheese and another pepperoni and the total was around $40. Every time I have come here (twice). I have only seen the same one guy in the kitchen and he doesn’t look like the type of guy who would change his gloves. The place I feel is very cramped. There is a whole wall filled to the brine with fridges and trash cans and the tables have crumbs and look old. Overall this place is below average and would not go back.

I’ve worked in Sudbury sporadically over the last 5 years. This has always been my go-to spot. I had a great gyro wrap yesterday. I walked in and had my food out the door in less than 10 minutes. This is a classic pizza spot in America. Any successful town needs one of these.

Good pizza place in town, a good amount of selection in hot sub and pastas.

I’ve lived many places and have done so while suffering from pizza snob syndrome. I search high and low for good pizza with mixed results. From the age of 3 and 30+ years later I occasionally stop back by because it just doesn’t get better than this.

What makes someone fly cross country for pizza? The crust is just right and the sauce delicious. Cheese perfectly melted, and the toppings are of quality. Just the right amount of grease… not too much nor too dry.

The place looks the same as it did 30 years ago and the love they show the community hasn’t waned a bit.

we got reg pizza, gf pizza and salad. The salad and regular pizza were yummy. The gluten free pizza was just cheese, even though I ordered and payed for sausage. This was very disappointing bc I was really looking forward to sausage and payed for it. Otherwise, the pizza was good, nothing special was definitely still yummy

Sadly, the pizza is fairly mediocre. I say sadly because I really wanted to like this place–it’s the quintessential local pizza place, and it’s clear that they’re active in the community from all the plaques ans photos they have of local high school sports teams they sponsor.

The pizza does have a nice lightness to it (not overwhelmingly heavy), but the slice falls apart when you pick it up. The sauce doesn’t have much flavor or punch, and the cheese was decent but nothing special. I found the topping choices a bit questionable (broccoli on a veggie pizza?). If the pizza was better it’d be a decent value ($14 for a large veggie pizza), but it honestly feels overpriced when I can get a Papa John’s large veggie pizza for a few bucks less and it’ll taste better. For what it’s worth, my companion did enjoy the pizza much more than I did.

Honestly, the pizza is 3/5 quality, but I’m adding another star because this place embodies exactly what a local pizza place should have in terms of ambience, simplicity, and community involvement. It just needs better pizza.

Every time I try a new pizza in the US, I want to cry. Have you ever had Italian pizza with real dough made with real flour and baked in a wood fired oven? Sudbury pizza is just another American junk with lots of toppings and fake dough. It’s a good thing there’s a Jacks Abby in Framingham that bakes something very close to the original pizza. The chicken tenders were good though.
