Visited this restaurant twice within a month of opening. I had two different experience. The second experience was exceptional when compared to the first time. This place is nice, cozy and has a beautiful desi ambiance. Make sure to reserve the table for a better experience as there can be a wait time. Coming to the food, it’s a thali ( full course meal ) restaurant with a good spread of appetisers, main course, sides and dessert. The menu changes everyday and you can see the menu on their instagram page. They update the story everyday on what’s on the menu. The dishes are mostly west/North Indian. Hands down this is the best Gujrati/Rajathani dishes I have had in Illinois. The food is unlimited, including the dessert and appetisers. Each and every item tasted unique, comforting and outstanding. I couldn’t wait for all items to come to take a good picture Lol. On the whole, I had a very great experience and this restaurant is gonna be on my repeat list.

My family loved it. The staff was super nice and welcoming, and everything we tried had really good flavor. I liked that they have a new menu daily and post it on their Instagram, so there is always something new to try.
It is $30 per person for unlimited vegetarian food, and the live pani puri is included. The pani puri was SO good and honestly took me right back to India. Such a fun and nostalgic experience.
Overall, it was really comforting, filling, and just one of those meals where you leave happy. We all enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

We visited Sāttvic for lunch and really enjoyed it. The food was consistently fresh, and the authentic flavors really shone through in the variety of dishes served that day. For the adults, the spice level was perfect, though it was a bit on the spicy side for the kids.
The live Pani Puri station was a decent start to our meal. We also appreciated that the service was quick and timely, the refills for the Thali came out without any long waits, which made for a smooth and enjoyable lunch. A solid choice if you’re looking for high-quality vegetarian food with a great rotating selection!

Ok love this idea!! Vegetarian thali was AMAZING. Tried to it for the first time today and I’m a fan now. Table service at its best. I love that they have a pani puri station. So unlimited pani puri as appetizer. We stand in the line and the person gives us freshly prepared pani puris. It was delicious. The place recently opened and the place is so pretty. Love the vibe and ambiance of this place.
The price for the thali is $30 for adults and $15 for kids. They have a nice variety of sweet and savory dishes. They keep coming back for refills . Servers are nice and friendly and explained the dishes to us.

We visited Sattvic for a casual lunch and left genuinely impressed. This newly opened Indian restaurant specializes in thali-based meals, showcasing Gujarati and Rajasthani regional flavors, and it truly shines in that space.
The thali offers a thoughtful variety of dals, kadhi, seasonal vegetables, along with a choice of puris and rotis. The khichdi served with ghee was comforting and well-balanced, and the meal ends on a sweet note with two dessert options. A special mention goes to the pani puri stall, which easily stands out as a highlight of the experience.
What elevates the meal even further is the service—the servers are polite, take time to explain each dish, and warmly encourage you to enjoy seconds. The owners are equally courteous and welcoming, adding a personal touch that makes you feel at home.
The decor is warm and hospitable, with an ambience that’s quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Since the thali menu changes daily, it’s a good idea to check their Instagram page before visiting.
A lovely spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, comforting Indian thali food in a calm and welcoming setting.

The food was very authentic and amazing! It’s a vegetarian restaurant that even caters to our jain food needs. Everybody was welcoming and took great care of us. The staff is very well trained and are caring and courteous.
The format is unlimited gujarati thali and the menu changes daily. It was authentic gujarati food that reminded me of going back home to my grandma’s house.
Loved it and would definitely visit again. A shoutout to Ishita, the hostess.

First of all.. let me tell you that I do not agree with the low reviews. I have been reviewing restaurants for so long and based on the experience, my reasons are given below.
This is a truly good food joint. Newly opened. Yes – there is a wait. Yes – the lines are long. It’s all expected because the food is truly home cooking. Gujarati thali at its best. I spoke to the owner – she takes care in curating the dishes and even serving them.
Food wise – start with endless Pani puri. Then head over to the table to start with buttermilk that is well balanced. And subsequently all the Gujarati delicacies come through. My favorite was the fruit salad. It was an eclectic mix of fresh food. Wonderful.
Loved the homely serving. Loved the chat with owner. Will be back. You guys are doing great. Keep it up.

Had a great time at this new restaurant. We received a good welcome with the start with pani puri stand. You get a variety of different tastes until you are satisfied and ready for the thali. The food is hot and tasty with plenty of servings. We were overwhelmed with plenty of choices and you get a variety of tastes for all different sabhzis. You will not be disappointed and a very welcoming and cozy environment. The staff is great and talkative so make sure to check it out. We will definitely be visiting whenever we get the chance as we came from Indiana. It is worth the drive and wait for the fresh and authentic Gujarati food! Don’t miss out on the taste as it is not your normal restaurant food but fresh and authentic as it should be!

My friends and I went here for thali and it was delicious! It was my first time having gujrati food and everything was very fresh, healthy, and flavorful. Thali had: 2 types of dal, 2 types of kadhi, undio ( delicious authentic veggie dish), Shahi paneer, kichdi (rice and daal comfort food), roti, puri and so much more. Umami was our server, and he was so kind and sweet. We were lingering over dinner chit-chatting and he was so accommodating and offered us chai. It was a lovely experience overall. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Satvik Restaurant. The food was truly amazing, the thali was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with each dish tasting homely yet special.
There was a bit of a wait, though. Even with a reservation, we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes before settling in. Service was a little slow, but the politeness and warmth of the owners and servers really made up for it. They were courteous, attentive, and genuinely apologetic, which we appreciated.
Overall, the delicious food and the kind, welcoming attitude of the staff made the experience worthwhile. We would definitely return, especially for the incredible thali.
