Warm, unassuming Italian eatery turning out wood-fired pizzas, pastas & gourmet meatballs.

This place is a basic Italian restaurant but at the same time, doesn’t get enough attention or word of mouth. I enjoyed everything I’ve gotten there over the handful of visits. Mixed drinks are hardle decent though. Pictured: Angel hair with white clam sauce, shrimp scampi appetizer, caesar salad and chicken marsala.

Went with a group of 10. The service was great- waitress was great. The Buffalo chicken meatball appetizer was terrible – they didn’t season the meatball- the only flavor was the sauce. The saving grace were the entrees- absolutely delicious. I got the penne vodka with shrimp. It was SO good. I would defintely recommend and return.

Ordered take out. What I received was not what was advertised on the menu. “Handcrafted fried mozzarella” turned out to be some nasty, fast food-type frozen mozzarella sticks. They charged $16 for those. It’s fine if restaurants serve those, my kids love them, but I wouldn’t have ordered them. I certainly wouldn’t pay that much for that type of product. I don’t think it’s asking too much to expect to get what you pay for. I tried contacting the restaurant but they ignored my message. I wouldn’t go back.

I ate here a few years ago and loved it. Tonight, I’m wondering if it’s changed ownership. The beans and greens were bland. No taste. I ordered a wood fire pizza as an entree. I’m thinking the crust was a Sysco special. You couldn’t taste the sauce and the cheese was horrible. Supposedly mozzerella. Very disappointed. Not at all what I remembered. I barely finished two slices. They asked if I wanted a take home box. I declined. Forty dollars wasted. Waitress was very polite.

We decided to try Three Vines since we wanted to go someplace new with an out-of-town guest. The whole experience was lovely. Our wait staff helped with our food selection and never made us feel like we were overstaying our welcome.
We started off with the pepper fried calamari, panzanella and Caesar salads. We dove into them so quickly that I didn’t get a photo.
Entrees were penne Primavera, linguine with clams, and penne alla Siciliano.
We also had an olive oil cake and fried dough (not sure of the exact names) for dessert.
We stayed for about two hours enjoying the delicious food and great company.
We plan to return to try some other salads and their pizza which looked awesome. Thanks, Three Vines, for such a memorable night!

We just had another delicious meal. Salad, entrees, desserts – lovely. Wait staff went out of their way to help out when our four-year-old guest spilled his gingerale. Although we lingered, we never felt rushed. Delightful evening.

Our gang was very pleased with the menu options
We had a bit of a wait to get our food. The portions were generous. No one left hungry.

Visited here a few years ago now. Everything was absolutely delicious, unfortunately my fiancé and I both got sick later that night. When we had called the restaurant the manager mentioned that there was another table that complained about the calamari appetizer not looking fresh which is what we had both eaten. We were told the manager would speak to the owner and get back to us and unfortunately no one ever did. I would have liked to go back and give it another try but my fiancé refuses to after our experience wasn’t handled very professionally.

Three Vines Bristo offers a good variety of Italian dishes to choose from. They have very friendly staff and it was easy to be seated even as walk in customers. My only complaint with the restaurant is that my Penne Alfredo dish was served to me on the hotter side of things, but I believe this was the case in order to melt the cheese in the right way as I could taste the variety of flavors it was bringing to the dish. The bacon was cut very thinly which is good, but I didn’t taste its presence in the dish. The green peas, however, did have a high quality fresh taste and added significant flavor to my Penne Alfredo dish. As an additional part of this review, I’ve attached photos of the dishes that were also ordered during this visit: Penne with “Meetballs” and Bruschetta which both tasted good, but they did not reach the quality I’ve experienced at other Italian restaurants. The Three Vines Bistro is an excellent Italian restaurant to visit. I know many people who would be absolutely satisfied from this experience. I’m a harder customer to satisfy and I acknowledge that so if you are in the area and are wanting some Italian food, the Three Vines Bistro is an excellent place to check out!

A solid NY Italian restaurant in the heart of Saratoga Springs! I was visiting the Saratoga area recently from Florida, and I know one thing that I had to get while in town was authentic NY Italian food! Three Vines Bistro filled that need nicely with their tasty food, good sized portions and good service. My dining partner is vegitarian so she had the veggie “meet balls” and they were great! They are not imitation meet, but a blend of beans, spices and veggies. Great flavor and good consistency. I had the encrusted chicken which tasted very similar to a good chicken franchese. Sides were great and the bread was warm and yummy. Service was prompt and friendly! Can’t wait to come back the next time I am in town!

3 Vines is by far my FAVORITE place for Italian in Saratoga Springs! They have the best pizza but my go-to pasta is the penne Romano. Annie and Joe are wonderful owners, I always look forward to seeing them.
