An amazing spot with remarkable atmosphere. Our waitress was . Extremely easy going and welcoming folks, one of the best pizzas I had in my life. Suggesting to stop by for an experience you likely never had before at a restaurant.

Definitely recommended. Small “family” run place with great food. We loved the fish & chips (with tater tots) and the Basque chorizo sandwich! Yum!!

This is a comfortable saloon with AWESOME food! The pizza is amazing. We had a small order of wings. They had the right amount of seasoning and were yummy! You must stop here. It’s not far off the interstate.

This is the best place we have ever been to!
My husband and I are long haul truck drivers, always in search of little hidden bar gems across the country. We parked at Chevron across the highway and walked over to the Saloon with our pup in the evening (it’s a lovely walk, less than a mile). We had high hopes for the place based on Google reviews, and oh boy, did it deliver!
The owners are amazing. The bar is amazing! The pizza is amazing! Our dog had the time of his life, playing with the bar dog for hours and hours, exploring the beautiful surroundings and being adored by everyone. We had so many amazing conversations sitting around the fire pit, sipping on beers. What a great time! I couldn’t recommend it more.
The pizza was out of this world. Yes, perhaps a tad pricey, but money for value is on point. We ordered ours to go, and we could barely hold the box up in the air. It was so heavy! And so tasty!
Speaking of out of this world, if you are lucky, maybe Chuck will show you the night sky like you’ve never seen it before. Or teach your dog how to actually bring a ball back. Either way, it’s a win-win.
Travelers, this is your place!
We will be back. 100%.

Great place. We wish we would’ve got there earlier and been able to stay longer. Food was great, bartender, owner and patrons made us feel at home, wife, kids and dogs. We played pool, music and put another dollar on the wall. Thank you for a great hour on our cross country trip. We will be back.

We stopped here on our way home to Reno last night. We ordered a few pizzas (Yard Bird was a favorite) and some wings, along with some drinks. The food was amazing and we decided to eat outside at one of the tables. The staff was extremely nice and would check on us often. I do have to say, the food took a long time to come out (there was only one person cooking and she was also bartending, among other things.) but it was well worth the wait. I would have loved to have checked out the bar side of them ngs, but we had our kids with us, so that was a no go this time. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place!!!

Went to the Gold Diggers after ironically spending the whole day gold mining in the area, we stopped by, found the dining portion of the bar, which admittedly was small but very cozy, our server was a very nice man and the cook was absolutely amazing, she was very nice, and the pizzas she made could be considered art, we ordered the Yard Bird, The Bad Hunter and a cheese pizza for my little sister, all of them were absolutely delicious and beat out any chain restaurant, the cook was also the dishwasher and bartender, even though she had so much to do on her plate, she did it flawlessly. If I’m back in the area again (which I’m REALLY hoping I will be soon) we will definitely stop by again. THANK YOU FOR THE DAMN GREAT PIZZA!!

Great Value for your money. Friendly staff and pizzas that are surprisingly good. The pool table and dart board are free.
If your headed east skip the pizza in Lovelock and drive a few exits down I-80 to Rye Patch Dam, make a left under the freeway and Gold Diggers is 1/4 mile down the road on your left.
If your traveling in an RV or Trailer Gold Diggers is a must stop. It’s a great place to stay a while.
