Heifers is such a great place to eat, their burgers are some of the best I have had in such a long time. A family member of mine brought me there for lunch one day and I’ve been obsessed since. I’ve never had a burger so good in my life. The food is literally life-changing and the employees are just amazing. Overall, I feel this is the perfect place to stop in for a quick bite to eat whether you’re a local or a visitor of our beautiful town!

Heifers is honestly one of the best places to get a meal in Young Harris. The atmosphere is amazing. The employees have some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. And don’t even get me started on the food their burgers and their Phillies are the best I’ve had in a long time I have never had a burger that afterwards have craved for days on end. It takes me back to my Moms home cooking. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who visits or lives in the area!

We enjoy hitting new spots while on vacation and this one is one we would return too. Family owned and operated.
There is a small menu, but the home cooked food was incredible. My wife had the Reuben which had a great smokey flavor. I had the bourbon chicken sandwich with grilled onions, that was one of the best bourbon glazes that I have ever had on a sandwich. My boys each wanted a cinnamon roll then it turned into 2 cinnamon rolls each. They also said it was the best they have ever eaten.

I can not remember the last time I ate anywhere that I enjoyed more than here. I am a diabetic and the had keto bread for my meatloaf sandwich and homemade keto friendly cookies. My wife had the Rubin and it was delicious as well. Great customer service both from the cook and waitresse. They even gave a small piece of meatloaf for my grand baby. The total price was just over 20.00 dollars. If I lived nearby I would eat here almost daily.

Service was prompt and courteous. Food was excellent. Bacon hamburger was the best burger I have had at a non fast food restaurant. My guest had a reuben sandwich. She said it was perfect. Will definitely be going back.

My son wanted to try the burgers and milkshakes which are handmade. It’s a small little family place but the food is amazing! Burger was huge and full of flavor and the bourbon chicken sandwich absolutely amazing! Handcrafted milkshakes? Yes please! The Butter Beer one was sublime! A definite must try if you like supporting local!!!!

A great cook in an interesting cafe. Glad she relocated closer to us from the previous Blairsville location. Great menu options with daily specials (today’s was chicken and dumplings) including several selections of fresh baked desserts. And don’t pass on the homemade chips as a side – they were possibly the best I have ever been served. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see what she does with the cafe.

Bacon egg and cheese on Texas toast, fire roasted peaches stuffed French toast, and even the house made chips were all amazing! Best breakfast I’ve had in a good while. Definitely recommend this place!

We stopped in here for a late lunch before heading to the winery, since there weren’t many options in the area. I’m so glad we did, because the food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We had the Western Burger and a Chicken Sandwich, and both were excellent! The atmosphere is a little unconventional, as the restaurant shares space with a second-hand store, so it’s not the most traditional dining environment. That said, if you’re looking for a delicious meal, friendly service, and don’t mind a quirky setting, this is absolutely worth a stop!!
