So good, I mean really good. Not your typical ice cream or bakery, but something truly unique and delicious,
If you haven’t heard of or visited Ya Habibi Sweets, well that may be because it is self serving. When you find something this good, you sometimes want to keep it a secret. And while I have delayed my review for a few months, it was not because I didn’t want to make it popular. The truth is, I forgot the names of the items I tried.
What is Ya Habibi Sweets? It is a middle Eastern dessert Bskery that as you walk in looks like the opening scene inside Willy Wonka’s factory. Baklava, Dubai Chocolate, pistachio cream, and I could go on. Now sing with me “Come with me, and you’ll see, a world of pure imagination…..”
Why did they have to ad the Sweets after Ya Habibi? Because next door is a fantastic middle eastern pizza joint called Ya Habibi Slice. So if you walk in the wrong door, just know you are in good hands,
While I have tried a number of dishes, here are some highlights from our recent bi,
Turkish baklava – my go to dessert. Rich, flaky layers, honey flavor. Just do good.
Turkish baklava with pistachio – think goodness with some added pistachio,
Dhom Al Seca with sweet cream – tried this for the first time, really enjoyed the flavors and the crust.

Came in to try the shawarma pizza and it was fantastic, beef was perfectly seasoned and dough was really tasty. We also tried some deserts and we will be coming back. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

From the moment I walked in, I didn’t feel welcomed. The staff member serving me didn’t smile or acknowledge me in a friendly way, which immediately set a negative tone. Unfortunately, the desserts were also disappointing — the items that were supposed to be crunchy were soggy, and the ashta filling tasted spoiled. They were also liking the crunchiness factor to them. You could even tell from the color. We also tried the viral lemon and peach ice creams, which had zero flavor and were honestly bland. We could not take more than two bites from everything and we had to throw all that away this is how bad it was .On top of all that, the prices were extremely high — I paid $50 for desserts that weren’t delicious at all and received very poor service. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

We went there today and the young gentleman was very nice and patient. He gave us free coffee sample and it was good! We bought Dubai strawberry cup, dubai brownie, knafe, some small baklava. Everything is very good and we really appreciate the young gentleman who served us with smile

Went in tonight because I was craving a Dubai chocolate bar. I was immediately disappointed first by the Dubai chocolate bars looking not so fresh with chocolate bloom all over them. Second, my children wanted the cup so we ordered one. Upon looking at other things, I noticed it said something about Nutella. I asked if there was Nutella in the cups and to my surprise, the cups are made with Nutella, instead of homemade chocolate. Last, it may only be me, but the things in this store have a funky chemical taste to it. Not good at all. $32 down the drain…

Omg, the pastry chef here is AMAZING! I genuinely loved everything we tried. The Dubai Chocolate Cup and the Kanafeh were out of this world—so rich, cheesy, and clearly made with care. You can really tell how much thought goes into each dessert.
Their coffee? Totally unique. It’s medium roasted but has this subtle twist of spice that I’ve never tasted before—so good! My daughter had their ice cream, and I stole a bite… wow, it was incredibly rich and flavorful.
I’m 100% coming back for that cheesy Kanafeh. It’s a must-try!

The Dubai chocolate cups, Dubai chocolate covered strawberry, Dubai chocolate crepe, and Dubai chocolate bars are amazing and so worth the price. The owner Kamal is very friendly and provides excellent customer and really cares about his customers! The kanafa is also pretty good. I always go back for the Dubai chocolate and you can tell it’s made fresh!
