For starters, the wood fired cabbage is amazing and so flavorful! It has a little kick of heat, but it is definitely my favorite! The white pie is very delicious as well, the cheesiest and garlic-iest (don’t know if that’s an actual word lol) bite every time! The Finnriver pear cider was so good too and paired well with the white pie!

The Janet was amazing!! Might be the best white pizza I’ve ever had. My friend raved about her gluten free pepperoni pizza and said the crust was delicious, with a great texture. Service was attentive and friendly. Rather noisy upstairs on what was a busy night, but still a nice atmosphere. There are also tables outdoors with heaters nearby.

Love that they have a vegan and veggie special, along with others. I got the veggie special, which featured squash and broccoli. Crust was nicely chewy and toppings were delicious! Order at the counter and sit, or there’s a 21+ bar upstairs. Also got a free beer after the person before me changed their mind 🙂 all staff were super friendly! So glad I visited here on my day in Coupeville!

Some dishes at this joint are Michelin star worthy. Must tries include

1. The wood fired Brussel sprouts
2. smoked chicken wings
3. the pasture pizza

They were all just so tasty and good.

The curd pizza which has the curried Hubbard squash was a let down – it tasted like an Indian curry on a pizza. Their prawn piccata was another let down – I guess the chef added too much lemon to our dish and we ended up just eating the prawns.

We’ll definitely visit again.

Cool vibes, incredible food, kind people. Lots of vegetarian and a couple vegan options. The roasted radicchio salad was creative and delicious. The kale pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had as someone who avoids mozzarella. All the ingredients tasted so fresh. We got there around 4:45 on a Sunday and got a seat. If we had gotten there much later, we would have had trouble getting one inside, as the place filled up. There are heating lamps for the outdoor seating though. Plenty of easy parking. Gets a bit loud inside. You order at the counter and get yourself water.

I was in Coupeville on personal business and decided to have lunch at Goldie’s and the Roost. I love pizza and hadn’t sampled any from Goldie’s yet.

The first thing I noticed was all the families enjoying the outside tables. The children were playing ring toss with rope rings and their parents were enjoying the weather and sipping beverages while watching their children enjoy themselves .

Then I walked inside Goldie’s and enjoyed the simple decor. There were two large tables sitting side-by-side and a few smaller tables along the edges of the area.

Upstairs is The Roost and is a 21+ area. I didn’t have much time to explore so I didn’t venture upstairs.

I looked over their menu and chose the Pepperoni pizza for my lunch and decided to have a glass of Pear cider to go with it. It’s been forever since I had a pizza with just pepperoni and I really enjoyed this one. The crust was done nicely, it wasn’t drowning in sauce but there was enough to enjoy the flavor. The pepperoni was crisp and had a nice taste.

If I have a chance to go back and enjoy a longer stay I will have to explore The Roost and see what that is about.

We had a wonderful experience here! We sat upstairs which was very nice. Everyone who served us was wonderful, and the drinks were very good. The food was delicious. We had the roasted carrots and the not knots (focaccia) for starters, and they were both absolutely fantastic!! The pizzas were both very good, we got a special and the tomato (you must love tomato for this, which we do). We also appreciated that they put the pistachio sauce/ toppings on the side to accommodate someone with a food sensitivity which we really appreciated. Thank you!!

This adorable spot offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and we were seated promptly. We ordered a bottle of wine and a pizza to share, which was delicious. They have a great selection of vegetarian options. I highly recommend this place!

Goldie’s nails the vibe. It feels welcoming from the moment you walk in, and the staff sets the tone with warmth and energy. Their support of the LGBTQ+ community shines through and adds to the sense that this is more than just a restaurant — it’s a space built on care.

Now, the food. The pizza deserves its own fan club. Crisp, flavorful, and hands down the best gluten free crust I’ve ever tried. It’s the kind of pizza that ruins you for all others. The corn dish was another standout, simple on paper but bursting with flavor on the plate.

This place is worth the two-hour drive, no question. Goldie’s is one of those rare finds where the food, the people, and the values all line up perfectly.

Cool spot. Liked every aspect of this place from decor to menu to food/drink and service. The not-knots are So. Freaking. Good. The kale salad was also very good. Was alone so didn’t get pizza but will next time for sure. Nicely done.
