We had heard great things about Lola’s, so we met up for a family dinner here. We were smart to make a reservation, because it’s a smaller spot that likely won’t have a table free if you just walk in. The food was so good!! Felt like home cooking in the best way. Quality, fresh ingredients, and a solid menu with both American and Italian dishes. Everyone who worked there was kind and welcoming. We loved it and will definitely go back for another family dinner!

Lola’s in Plainville is great!! Despite the industrial park setting and dated interior, the service and food is fantastic. Becky provided super friendly and fast service. House bread is served hot with a garlic spread which is perfect. Bang Shrimp appetizer is a huge serving. Fried with just the right amount of honey ginger sauce, it’s an awesome appetizer. Grilled teriyaki salmon tastes amazingly good and you get a big piece served with rice and vegetables. Blackened swordfish is another big piece with a nice blackened exterior but moist inside. Easily 5 Stars for Lola’s.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I had no idea it was here until last night, driving by. My husband and I decided to stop. Everything we had was outstanding. Be sure to try the ice cream place next door as well. Their ice cream is incredible.

The food was excellent, and large portions too. I had salmon mashed potatoes and vegetables. Its bring your own booze, so if you’re not familiar with the place. The place was clean, the waitress was sharp and efficient. Il definitely be going back.

Took a chance recently stopped into this little. Out of the way bistro, they had a lamb special with pasta. And I don’t know why it was considered a special. It had absolutely no flavor the lamb you couldn’t chew. The pasta was thick and not no flavor at all. Salt and pepper couldn’t even save it. Also, my guest got stuffed mushrooms with sausage which had absolutely no flavor to anything, even salt and pepper couldn’t save this.I would not recommend this place of business to anyone , will not return to your establishment
