Far exceeds expectations! This place delivers tasty creative presentations of sushi in an intimate setting. The tasting menu is extraordinary with lots of variety in fish, sauces, and flavors. Make sure to reserve a table to ensure you can get in.

I thought I ordered a tasting menu for 50€, but I didn’t realize it was all you can eat for 50€ pp. So I ate a little more . Than I normally do and everything was top notch, fresh fish, unique rolls with interesting sauces and combinations. The service was excelllent as well.

Our evening here was just perfect. The owner made us feel very welcome, and the chef was not only excellent in the kitchen but also very kind and friendly. We decided to go for the surprise menu and didn’t regret it for a second – every dish was spot on. The wines paired beautifully with the food. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and definitely a place I would recommend to anyone.

What a gem this is!
This is located 2min walk away from Rato metro station, so super easy to get to if you’re near any metro line.
I am a massive sushi fan but I also like the option of not having to decide and trying a bit of everything so opted for the tasting menu for €50 thinking it was a set menu. After the 6th plate came, I actually discovered it was an all you can eat option and you had to tell them when you are full or they’ll keep bringing plates .
Despite my misunderstanding, it was a good opportunity to try lots of different options from the menu – Just a note that this is a ‘fusion’ type place, so a lot of the dishes are a twist on the traditional, but this didn’t take away from the meal. Everything that was served was incredible, super fresh and beautifully presented.
Highly recommend this place if you are into Japanese cuisine! (And well worth the price, regardless of whether you realise it’s an all you can eat or not )

The best sushis I have ever eaten and I have tried a few fancy ones in London recently! The chef knows how to play with the textures, different contrasted flavours and the presentation. I have even recommended it to my brother who is visiting in a couple months. I recommend getting the taster menu as the chef sends his own selection and you decide when you want to stop. It ends with a beautiful selection of sashimis. Their homemade lemonade was also delicious. Can’t recommend enough!

Whether you are after simple flavours or exotic creations Gohan is hands down the best sushi in town. With an intimate vibe and fresh ingredients you can’t go wrong and the head chef Pedro is a delight to the eyes.

I would consider myself a sushi connoisseur with the extensive amounts of sushi I have consumed.
This place is one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had. Yes it is a fusion restaurant, however, the flavours blend well, the textures intertwine and everything is beautifully presented.
6 rolls, 2 portions of tuna sashimi (don’t think its bluefin as they don’t advertise it but it does melt), a salmon tartare, 2 beers and 2 waters for about 150€.
We did not get the taste menu where they serve you chef’s choice but I bet that would be great as well. All in all, this is the place to go for quality over quantity. You will leave feeling satisfied but not overly full.
10/10 recommend especially the tuna sashimi considering it not to be bluefin but still melt in your mouth delicious.
