Lone Tree Thai Cuisine is a place I hadn’t visited in over a decade due to a not-so-great experience years back. Recently, I decided to give it another try, hoping things had improved—and I’m glad to say they have.

We came in on a Thursday around 11 for lunch and were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. Service started off smoothly, and it wasn’t long before our server came to take our order. We went with the beef pad see ew and chicken pad gra pow.

Both dishes were delightful and flavorful—exactly the bold, comforting Thai flavors you anticipate when craving Thai food. The noodles were well cooked, the seasoning was on point, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. My only small note would be that the portions could be a bit more generous.

Service throughout the meal was good—servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I’m really glad I decided to give Lone Tree Thai Cuisine another chance. It’s earned its way back onto my list, and I’ll definitely be returning when I need my Thai food fix.

Went there specifically for the spicy squid salad but was disappointed that they were out of squid. Ordered the Prawn Suit from the appetizer menu and a bowl of Tom Yum soup with shrimp. I really enjoyed the Prawn Suit. It was crispy and tasty. The shrimp inside was cooked just right! The soup was just ok. It’s similar to the Filipino dish called sinigang but was not as flavorful. My husband ordered his usual Thai style fried rice with chicken. It’s enough for two meals so he had enough leftover for dinner.

15 years ago this used to be the best Thai food within a 1 hour radius, no joke. Friends and family would come from all over to eat here. Then they changed ownership, the service, food quality, went extremely down hill. The place is dated, hasn’t been cleaned in years, stinks inside, service is rude, and the food is no longer edible. Anyone who is rating this place high has no idea how good Thai food is supposed to taste.
They skimped out on ingredients, no longer use real Thai chili’s, are cheap, and I don’t even know what else to say besides avoid this place at all costs. It won’t be in business for much longer.

Nice cozy restaurant with great service and wonderful food. They could make most of the dishes in vegan style with lots of vegetables and tofu. Soup was tangy and flavorful with right spice level. We loved pineapple fried rice, pumpkin curry, pad thai and mango sticky rice. Pad see ew is better without egg as vegan version. Veg fried rice in small cup was very yummy too. Red curry was a bit underwhelming with less spice and flavor though. Loved the desserts. Mango mousse cake and mango sticky rice were yummm!!! We loved the thai tea.

Service was nice, a bit slow because it was busy. Food is decently priced and comes in good-sized servings. I wish I could say the mango sticky rice was good, but they were out (I was really excited to try it at this location). Went in for Valentines day and they were decently busy, still had pretty quick service when it came to the food, though. Staff were nice and you could tell they were comfortable with chatting with their patrons.

I recently had a delightful meal at this Thai restaurant. The surprise addition of a beautiful salad with strawberry and mango toppings perfectly complemented my rice plate with green curry. The portion was ideal for a quick lunch break, and the Thai tea was spectacular. The service was good; the two young ladies were attentive despite being busy. We had to call them over a few times due to our lunchtime rush, but they were accommodating.

The establishment itself was nice, and I appreciated the availability of two restrooms. However, I would suggest making them gender-inclusive to reduce wait time. Additionally, while the presentation was beautiful, I couldn’t help but imagine how much more stunning it could be with improved plates. A suggestion for the owner to consider. Overall, a great dining experience with a friendly note for potential enhancements.

The interior is kind of depressing, very dark and dated. No music or any ambiance. There is also a strong smell (once you’re inside for a bit you stop smelling it). The food was okay. The service was kind of odd. We ordered soup as an appetizer to start, but they didn’t want to put in the food orders until we ordered everything. They even asked if we wanted to order dessert immediately. Two of our plates were dirty (family style sharing plates). I also found hairs in two of the four dishes we ordered. The service was extremely slow and we were the only people dining in. I would not recommend likely won’t be returning ever.

Avoid at all cost. Reviews are fake & is no where close to 4stars
1), the lady who answered the call is super rude to make a reservation and said if we don’t show up by 2:15pm our reservation would be gone, because they are super busy!
We arrived at the restaurant 15min after the call and see hardly 2 tables occupied. Wonder what is the swag about?
Red flag: Why did we not simply find another place to go? We continued

2)When we opened the door it smells stinky, the smell we get from unventilated places.
Red flag: we should have choosen to walkout, but didn’t

3)ordered Tom ka and Tom yam soup. That too large two pots. Only to find both are yucky with very high savory liquids and uncooked chicken. No one liked it in our group of 9.
Red flag: Tomka soup has no galangal nor the bamboo shoot nor the coconut milk. Not even one peice . It’s simply savor.

3)chicken satay is cold and has no seasoning in it . But,better than the soup we did not eat/drink moments before. The peanut sauce is at best bland.

4)red curry is ok, still needs seasoning & white rice is hard than usual which is an extra charge.

5)chicken fried rice has no seasoning, but consumable, but portion size is so small we have to get two more

6) pineapple fried rice is horrible with chilly flakes all over and it’s unacceptable for human consumption. Remind we eat a hell lot of spicy food. But this is simply horrible

7)kids are hungry so we took a chance at veg spring rolls and they eat then with no fuss. So assuming they are fine.

Spicy Eggplant with Shrimp and Pineapple Fried Rice were both delicious . Our server was sweet and attentive. It was a little busy during the lunch hour but service was still timely.

This restaurant was a great find. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the service was quick, even though the place was very busy. They had decorated the whole place with Halloween decoration which was very fun!! The food was really good, but maybe just not to my taste, but the others in my party enjoyed in very much. The soup was presented in flaming bowl, which is seen in the attached photo. Would recommend to anyone in the area!!
