I don’t normally do “chicken” places. But this one had a buzz that I kept hearing about and I just happened to be in the area. It’s on Thayer Street So you’ll have to park (Maybe on a side street) and walk over. Located in a college area and there was a steady line of people coming in. Tried the truffle parmesan fries, the waffle chicken sandwich, homemade chicken nuggets and plain fries. It took a while to get the food I’m assuming because everything was made right when I ordered. Food was ! Exceeded my expectations. Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The waffle was soft but still dense enough to hold up to the weight of the chicken. The sandwich in whole wasn’t overly sweet or overly seasoned. My food was stuffed into the box together, I had to ask for a separate box to put my sandwich in. Fries had just enough truffle and parmesan. But the plain ones were good too! The nuggets weren’t bad, but there was a seasoning in them that didn’t sit well with me – and I can’t call what it was. Overall I would eat here again and recommend to others.

Order an OG, a Yasville Hot, and a Mac Zaddy. All were awesome. The chicken on all of them was perfect, juicy, plenty of flavor, crunch, and portions were spot on!! Wish we could have had room to try the Duo, but maybe next time. This is a great stop, park on a side street and walk, but otherwise make a point to eat here!!

This place is so good. I’ve been coming since they opened in Providence. Like any new business they were bombarded when they first opened. I experienced the long waits but it was so worth it. I’ve had 5 of the 6 sandwiches and probably like the Yas Supreme the best. I love the crispy french fries and tater tots as well. The Mac N Cheese is one of my favorite things to get. Sometimes I get the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce which is so delicious. I have also tried the wonton mozs, seafood Rangoon and the coleslaw which are all delicious. I still have to try some other items .

I really liked the concept of the food with all the different spices. I tried a bunch of menu items and I have to say the Korean Corn dogs were my favorite thing to try, I’d recommend them to anyone who likes a corn dog it was some next level corn dog concept lol.

the ownership are unreal, we were concerned about the wait the place was packed app said 45 minute wait. They told me to order at the counter and they had the order out and delivered to our table in under 10 minutes. She also treated my daughter, family, and friends like family something you just never get enough of.

My only recommendation would be to have a few extra fold chairs and some baby seats .

I’ll definetly be back here it was overall a really great experience

I was one of the first few people to order when Yas Chicken first opened in Providence, and I have to say, they fully lived up to my expectations. Having seen their Instagram page full of videos of their delicious food, I knew I had to be there on opening day. I ordered a Yas Supreme (cole slaw spicy chicken sandwich), and it was honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The chicken was fried perfectly and you definitely get a bang for your buck. Not to mention their finger-licking special YAS sauce! I live nearby, so I will, without a doubt, be coming back here a lot more often!

A good chicken sandwich.
Staff was nice and helpful when I didn’t know what I wanted.
Entrance seems like it’s closed and is not handicap accessible. They maybe need some new signage over there so it’s easier to understand it’s even there. Bathroom was clean. More than one restroom. One gender neutral one. Sauces are good and the food was ready really fast. They only have take-away boxes and depending on the time of day it gets really busy in here fast.
I had to wait a while to have a seat but my food was ready fast.
Impossible to park in this area but plenty of buses here.

The first time I had the chicken and waffles. Perhaps the best chicken I’ve had, and good waffles. Since then I’ve usually gotten the gyoza and chicken strips with Yas sauce. Always delicious. I’ve been going back once every few weeks and plan to continue doing so.

This place lives up to the hype! In my opinion the winning ingredients for me are their sauce and truffle fries. I’m usually not a big fan of mayo based sauces but it pairs really well with chicken. The the fried donut and sweet condensed milk topping are out of this world.

Had a follow-up visit to Yas’s Chicken. Ordered 4 meals, got 4 cups, 4 sandwiches and 2 fries. Apparently, it was keyed in wrong and I had to pay the difference for the fries. I got the spicy sandwich and it was pretty good. On my previous visit, I got tenders and Yas’s sauce on the side. Thought they were really good. Also had the OG sandwich and parmesean fries for my meal. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in awhile. The fries were solid as well.

The cheesy chicken is awful almost could yell out frozen. I’ve been there before when they first opened. Sandwiches were great. Not sure if they changed cooks which usually happens. Where are the great cooks and friendly service? Not at Yas Chicken. Ordered 3 sets of fries and they all came back the same. Where’s the Parmesan I ordered? Ordered pink lemonade off the menu, automatically substituted for lemonade without asking. Ordered Starri and had to go back to get it. This is just another fast food restaurant that does not care. The workers show us so I’m so so happy I did not give a tip on the way out. Get what you deserve. Down with Yas!
