We went there for breakfast as a family Sunday and it was great! The waitress was very friendly and took our orders promptly. Our food was prepared quickly. Everything we ordered tasted just right. Fresh ingredients were used and we enjoyed our breakfast a lot! Will definitely be back.

Let me just say this: the prices are so good (I’m from Northshore Illinois though). The portions are HUGE, and we chose a window seat next to the river. Our server was sweet and had her standard Midwestern hospitality. Everything was just smooth and easy. I recommend!

My mother and I used to visit this place frequently for dinner or lunch. During lunch they are not very busy and depending on the day, dinner is not very busy either. This places sits on a river with indoor or outdoor seating (weather permitting.) The staff are very friendly and quick to serve. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

Great food, clean bathrooms, kid friendly food items and staff. With a great view. Prices were good with sizable portions, definitely coming back next time I’m in the area!

Nice place, food was good, beautiful location on the river, wonderful patio, friendly waitress…….. there were 4 of us, we ordered our food. Some folks followed us out to the patio then they ordered their food after us. They were done eating and leaving when we finally got our food. Something just didn’t add up. Im thinking they forgot our order because we sat 41min before we got our food served to us. If the patio wouldn’t have been so nice to sit on and socialize with our friends we Forsure would have left when the folks next to us had their food delivered to them because that was annoying and frustrating to see them eating there food before us, then upsetting to see them leaving and we hadn’t even started eating yet and if you notice in the photo our order wasn’t a big complicating meal.

Well having read some reviews i decided to try it. I dont know if i just happened to go on a off day but it wasnt anything like what i had read. First let me say the waitress was top notch, thank you. However, the food was little to be desired and some of it had been way past its date. I really should have just refused it. Live and learn i guess, wont be back

This was a fantastic find! It’s a lot of standard café food with a splash of Mexican.
We had the Chili Cheese Omelet, the Hungry Bubba, and the Hawaiian Omelet special – everything was awesome. You can also get French toast on the side instead of regular toast.
The food came fast and the place is , with two floors of seating.

So today was my first time being inside this location since the old Firestone tire shop closed down. Never ate at the Firestone grill or this current place before.
Ordered catfish was maybe just a little under cooked but was still very good. Delicious carrot cake! Guess my only complaint would be that they don’t serve coke only Pepsi products. However they do have Doctor Pepper on tap.
