Located on a busy street with parking in two public lots nearby. Made reservations and asked for a quiet corner. Placed in a high traffic portion of the main floor. Food was good. Service slightly above average.

We were lucky to hold a small family event there and I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. They went above and beyond to make it special. The food was delicious and service was fabulous. The decor just makes you forget you are on Moody Street. I wish we took more pictures as the lamb chops looked amazing.

A great discovery in Waltham. The food was expertly prepared and beautifuly presented . I had the veal chop, tender with a delicious sauce that complemented the dish. I also enjoyed the minestrone soup which was a light broth, filled with vegetables. A perfect opener .
The service was friendly, timely and professional. We were headed to an event and signaled for our waiter waiter. The person came and took care of our immediate needs while they located our waiter. True team work, focused the customer .
Comfortable and relaxing environment.

A gem in Waltham, hopefully will have a reason to visit the area again soon and dine here again

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Best Bolognese I have ever eaten. Really never had a bad dish. We often order take out, but when we dine in, the staff always remembers us and makes us feel welcomed.

A moody street gem, especially if you’re in the mood for well balanced, flavorful upscale Italian cuisine and delicious cocktails. Seasonal menu updates, and never disappoints. Rebecca is the best bartender in Waltham!

My wife and I had dinner at Vinotta recently and loved it! We had reservations and were seated right away at a high top in the bar area, which was very nice. Our server and other wait staff were very friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we had the Ahi Tuna Crudo and Shrimp Al Cognac. Both were very good, but the shrimp dish was not that special as the name and description led me to believe, but it was still good. My wife had the Frutti de Mare, which she said was delicious but she would have liked it to have more garlic. I had the Carbonara that was extremely delicious with the pasta cooked perfectly! I hadn’t had Carbonara in years, and this meal made me wish I had it every day. The Spumoni Bomb for dessert was also a big hit.

I should note that the server for the customers seated at the high top next us was extremely professional in the way he dealt with the female diner at that table as she was a very demanding and high maintenance individual. If I had been that server, I would have thrown in the towel with this high maintenance customer, but the server held his tongue and was tolerant of the female diner’s demands even though my wife and I could tell he wished he were waiting on another table with different customers! It was funny and sad at the same time to watch,

Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and we’ll be back. I took one star away as we were not able to book a dining table via the online system when I made reservations as it stated online that dining table seating was not available for the time slot I reserved (~ 6pm). However, upon our arrival at the restaurant there were plenty of empty tables as only 3 tables had customers and there were no more than 10 customers in total when we arrived. There was plenty of staff standing around so no excuse if they said it was due to bring short-staffed. Thus, I am unsure why we were not able to reserve a table for dinner?? Make sure to get reservations early in the week to guarantee a table.

Friendly service, fresh ingredients, authentically Italian. We ordered couple of the specials of the day and every dish was made perfectly. Definitely would recommend for someone who’s looking for a nice dining experience.

Love this Italian restaurant! Dinner out for two with a very attentive waitstaff, big menu and wine list in an elegant setting. The seafood special was a delicious, generous combination of grilled swordfish, scallops, shrimp, calamari. The lobster ravioli, wine, and warm bread were excllent also. I look forward to returning soon.

I really liked this place. The atmosphere and decor were very nice. The menu had many wonderful options. The chef owner was inviting, gregarious and recommended certain dishes based on our questions. I had the lobster arrabiata and it was memorably delicious. My colleagues were happy with their selections as well. The wines were also good by the glass. My inly feedback would be to season the eggplant and fish a bit more.
