Wow! What a gem of a restaurant. Our expectations for dinner in Hamilton were exceeded when we dined with Spice of Life. Caleb- you’re a fantastic waiter, thanks for answering all of our questions. The soup and salad were wonderful, the steak dinner was the star of the show, and the strawberry tart… wow! My husband loved the autographed Wooten Brothers photo. We’re so happy we got to experience the magic that is the Spice of Life!

My husband and I went to Spice of Life tonight, and we can not say enough good things about our meal. The French onion soup was amazing. My chicken with Thai peanut sauce was juicy and delicious. My husband was equally impressed with his Jack Daniel’s steak. Desserts are made locally, and the mounds cheesecake was perfect! We raved over every course and appreciated being able to enjoy a leisurely meal instead of feeling rushed out the door. The only thing we would change is that because it’s a small space, it was loud and a bit hard to hear across the table. That said, my husband and I both agreed that the meal was worth every penny, and Spice of Life will be a place we visit again and again.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. First and foremost, the food is amazing; but beyond that, the service is unmatched. We had Sam as our waiter on his first night who knocked it out of the park. The food was so good my 6 year old demanded to go there for a date night, to which I obliged. When we walked in I was informed it was reservations only. Upon seeing my daughter dressed to the nines, Tina made an exception allowing my daughter and I to have that special time. Thank you again to Sam and Tina! You now have another loyal customer for life.

Spice of Life is our favorite restaurant from Missoula down to Darby. The head chef, Karen prepares outstandingly flavorful, and creative dishes often using locally sourced ingredients. The staff is friendly and fun plus the wait for a table is rarely long. Reservations are usually not needed except on special occasions like Valentines day. Spice of Life is our ‘go to’ restaurant when company is in town. Based on the quality of the meals Spice of Life is an incredible value.

Update 11/10/23. We went here for my birthday tonight. There special was amazing. Salmon and Mussels in a Ginger sauce with rice and Asparagus! But the kicker, the soup was Manhattan Claim chowder. Manhattan Claim Chowder is based in a red sauce, not creamy. It brought me back to my childhood, when my Mom would make this for up, growing up in Queens, NYC! This was amazing. Great food and my wife had the Small plate, Halibut. Fantastic. Then desert. The Carrot Cake, outstanding a d the Tiramsue, outstanding. Great service. What a birthday meal. Manybthanks Spice of life.
To update. We went tonight 7/20/23. Wow is an understatement. The food, amazing Sky was fantastic as well. ( Broke my wrist-lol) the Tofu satay, amazing, salmon salad amazing, the small Halibut meal, amazing. Then the N.Y. Cheesecake! Superb, Reminds me of my childhood back in N.Y.C. My go to placw in Hamilton good wine selection as well.

The service was extremely attentive and warm.
The food was delicious.
We got the steamed clams, Thai chicken linguini and the grilled flank steak with chimichurri. All dishes were so flavorful and perfectly cooked.
As we left the parking lot, I told my husband, eating here feels like I just got fed by someone who loves me AND is an amazing cook.
We will definitely be returning in the future.
