Fun place to have dinner & drinks. Worth the experience, however. Drink prices, though high is OK, except you get about half of what you would expect to get. My bourbon ($14) on the rocks glass was only half filled, including the ice. My wife had wine ($11) and it was like just 4 ounces. We both had the chicken masala, which was very good, but not your usual masala, made with red wine.

I have nothing negative to say! My husband and I had a rare night alone and decided to have a date. From the moment when we walked in, Brayden was so sweet and talked to us like we knew him for years. We decided to sit at the bar, and JR was a legit magician with the drinks he created. Ask him to surprise you, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! I wish i remembered the name of the chef, but I have never had better food anywhere else. Everything was fresh, local and made with care. I cut my NY Strip with a butter knife, that should say something! We will definitely be back and bringing more business! I’ve been to a lot of restaurants, and honestly, this one that’s the top hands down.

We were a little confused on how to get in (you have to flip a switch to turn the light on) but once in, we had a great time. Good food, great and inventive drinks, and friendly service. Note – the menu isn’t large. That didn’t bother me but don’t expect everything for everyone. There was a fish, a burger, a steak and a pasta on the menu (and maybe one or two more) but everyone liked what they got and we all had a great time!

Finally stopped into CrowBar and was NOT disappointed! Cocktails are absolutely amazing and each one is thoughtfully created and executed. Winston was an amazing bartender. I would 1000% recommend the Nutty Scotsman if its on the menu!

This place is absolutely amazing. I moved here from Boston, lived in arizona and south Florida. Worked in the service industry as a server and bartender at high quality bars. I was trained as a mixologist. This place exceeds all expectations. You cannot find another gem like this in the area. Food is fabulous too and I am a foodie

First let me say this place has a fun concept, from the way you enter at the front door to the atmosphere once inside to the sweet little whiskey room downstairs. Where they run into problems is the quality of food and the high prices. We were a party of 5 with a reservation. We were seated at a table with a couch on one side and 2 chairs on the other. Sitting on the couch and reaching the table was very awkward, hence it made eating and drinking uncomfortable. There were few if any drinks under $15 and the dinners were $30 plus for entrees, unless you wanted a burger. I feel these prices are quite high for Claremont. Maybe in a big city, but not Claremont. All of the servings of French fries at our table arrived cool, not hot, and I was told that they had run out of scallops as the rest of my friends were being served their dinners. This after being told they had run out of Filet. And it was a Saturday night. They did comp my meal when it finally arrived and we had a wonderful time after dinner in the downstairs whiskey bar. The bartender down there was exceptional. I really wanted to like this place.

Made a reservation after specifically clarifying based on the FB post that they were having a Halloween event. A young woman in a baggy shirt and jeans opened the door. We asked again if they were having an event. She rudely said she knew notthing about it rather than trying to make us feel welcome as it was needlessly awkward. Do better.

Lady’s and gentlemen, the crowbar is an experience that our sleepy little town has needed for a long time. With amazing food like the sausage sampler that will send you on a flavor experience like no other. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and have a nice drink, this is claremonts best kept secret to find. Just ask one of their seven covert mixologists, Murphy, Elise, Addy, Dee, Rose, Dennis, or Ace, about the very closely guarded mix drinks they keep for the rainy day or the just so special occasion. And with deals such as the $2 Tuesdays and Throwback Thursday’s where if you come in 20’s or 30’s attire you’ll Enjoy a generous 10% off you cant afford not to vist on your next date night with the misses. And if you just so happen to find this diamond in the rough stay tuned for the near future! For this Gem among gems has been keeping a secret that you’ll not want to miss out on!

I had a Saturn and French Blonde, beautiful, clean glasses, clean atmosphere, very warm and intimate. It was late and quiet but the ladies running the bar were wonderful and prompt, and kept me well informed of kitchen services. A right proper spot to have a drink, maybe a bite, I am not sure as I haven’t tried the food yet, but I’ll be back, most definitely.
