Top Vietnamese restaurant. Strip mall parking and the dining area is spacious. I had the fried egg rolls and the pork shrimp combo vermicelli. Yeah it was on point and the service was very good. I actually wanted some pho but I overheard that they were out of basil leaves and something else. Not holding it against them but that is a problem. Good spot.

I can’t stop and won’t stop coming here. Hands down, the best Vietnamese restaurant our city has to offer. I always get the 31a (wide egg noodle, pork, squid combination stir fried in a light brown garlic sauce) and 39 (combo fried rice with Vietnamese pork). I’d recommend this place to everyone looking for something authentic and different. I cannot say enough good things about them so I’m gonna stop talking and start eating.

We love Vietnamese cuisine and this has been one of our favorite places to eat it! Their pho is top-notch and I can’t say enough about the summer rolls….yum! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I am very, very sad it is closing. It really is a huge loss to the Birmingham food scene and it will be sorely missed!

This place is great – all of the apps are awesome, soups are WAY better than some of the other Vietnamese places in town. The Bun Bo Hue is one of the best things you can eat if you are sick and it is cold. I eat it multiple times a week in the winter. I love this place!

So, so good! A friend at work brought an amazing noodle bowl from there so my family went for a try the next day. We all loved it, including my 5 and 7 year olds (but they’re not picky, they just love good food ). My husband and I went back the next day for takeout!

The food is 5 stars and the Pho is great but there are a few things that mess it up that won’t allow me to give it 5 stars. The past few times when I order my appetizers I’ll get my food first and will almost be done with my meal before the appetizers come out. It wasn’t always like this so you might get lucky. Also the phone rings so loud the entire restaurant can hear it so when it rings off the hook it really disturbs your eating experience. During peak hours sometimes you can’t find a clean table because the servers are helping other guests and don’t have time to clean the tables. They should really assign someone to just clean tables during peak time. I literally saw them lose a customer because they came in, saw no empty CLEAN tables and then they walked out. As I sit here right now I see 11 empty dirty tables and I love this restaurant so I’m not exaggerating. Other than that the food is amazing! Enjoy.
