I can’t believe I drove right past this place several times without stopping until a friend posted a picture of their brisket and burger. What a mistake because this spot is absolutely incredible.
If I could give more stars I would, especially for their live music jam session on Wednesdays which has an energy that makes the whole place come alive.
The vibe is laid back and welcoming, the service is friendly, and the food is next level! The brisket is tender and flavorful, the burgers are outstanding, and the quality is an amazing value for the price.
Everything feels done with care from the kitchen to the stage. The food here is some of the best in Asheville and is not to be missed.

In town for the week, we found this place and loved it so much that we went twice! Solid pork, amazing brisket, great sides (shoutout to the dill mac salad- wow!). Staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They even gave our dog a little meat treat. Don’t miss this place!

After an adventurous day we stopped by Iron and Oak Brisket for an early dinner. Seating outside was comfortable as we were able to find a shady spot. We ordered a brisket platter with slaw and BBQ hash browns and a pulled pork platter with slaw and gravied mashed potatoes. Our food arrived in a few minutes and it was delicious. I would recommend Iron and Oak Brisket Co.

Food was very tasty and they had blue grass music that grew from 4-12 people that showed up for jam session. The lines kept growing it’s obviously a popular local spot. It next to a beer joint. We had brisket tacos, brisket chili, double cheese burger and pulled pork sammy. They have hot sauces in a pump for you to serve yourself.

This place is legit. Seriously, so good. It’s a simple menu but that means what they serve is all going to be delicious. I didn’t see any non-red meat options (like chicken) which was fine by me, but may be important to others. I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs. The brewery next door was also good and so refreshing on this summer day.

This is a wonderful little barbecue joint that serves delicious slow cooked brisket, pulled pork, and sausages as well. Their potato salad was fantastic and they have a variety of bbq sauces to choose from. The place got busy as soon as they opened, so get it while you can! Love that there’s a brewery right next to it with a variety of craft beers.
