Bar pizza is a style unique to the South Shore of Massachusetts, perfected in “coastal“ towns such as Brockton, Randolph, and Stoughton. It has a cracker-like crust, crushed tomato sauce, and mostly cheddar cheese which is spread to the edge. It is baked in a 10-inch steel pan until the edges are crispy.

This is a long review, but only good things to say!
I’m surprised by the negative reviews for this place? It’s interesting that many of them say they loved the place prior to one instance… And chose to leave the bad review after the one negative experience. I’ve personally had no issues, and I’ve been coming to this place since it opened. The older gentleman, who I assume is in a managerial or owner position is very witty, and maybe that comes across to some as being rude?
The food is a bit pricey, but it hasn’t stopped me from ordering. I would order even more often if the cost was a bit lower, but I also understand it’s a family owned business. Got to respect the hustle! I want this place to stick around!
I really love the thinner crust, the bit of charring, the food tastes great! I’ve never had a long wait, never had any issues with the food, nor the staff. I’ve even ordered from DoorDash or UberEats in an area that took a *while* to find a driver, and the food was still warm. Their pizza is still very good when cold too, if you have any left over.
I’m not sure what happened with the people saying they had experienced rudeness, I haven’t experienced any here, but I do want to remind people to be kind to employees in the restaurant/service industry. If you come in hot, it shouldn’t be a surprise if they aren’t excited to work on a solution with you, but I’m sure they still would if you ask.
Once more, I don’t know what happened when these reviews were written, this isn’t a response to those, but being upset about an order doesn’t mean you should take it out on the employees. It’s not an easy industry, and from my experiences, they definitely care about the quality. It shows.

5 stars! I have been coming here since they opened, and they never disappoint! The pizza is so delicious, I haven’t been able to eat any other style since! The salads are my favorite though. Nothing beats a good chicken Caesar!
Other than that, the place itself is really nice! I like the chalk menu on the wall and the cute string bar pizza signs inside the building. Also, the staff has been consistently kind ever since I first went. This is one of my favorite local businesses to support.

Absolutely amazing experience! Bar Pizza and Salad Co has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible — the pizzas are perfectly crispy with the right amount of toppings, and the salads are fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. You can really tell they care about what they serve.
The customer service is top-notch too — everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.

This is my second time getting pizza here. I remember the first being alright, but unremarkable. Today one pizza came out okay if a bit dry, but the other was super overcooked and dry. It looked and tasted more like a cracker or like it had sat out for hours. To top it off, it was $25 for 2 personal sized pizzas. I can’t imagine that I’ll be going back. The person working the counter was super friendly, though. I gave an extra start for her.

First time going, so we thought we would try a variety of their offerings. Salads were ample and had wonderfully fresh elements. Great flavors combined to make them enjoyable to eat. Loved the Greek dressing with the Greek Salad, it helped to offset the salty elements (kalmata olives and feta) of the salad making it absolutely delicious. The fresh basil and spinach in the capresse salad with the fresh mozzarella were perfect with the reduced balsamic drizzle. We were not fans of the dressing with that salad and felt it actually deterred from the enjoyment of it. So as for the salads solid 5 on recommending!
Next the pizzas, we chose to try three of the pizzas available. The veggie, Buffalo chicken and meat lovers. The first picture is trying to show the sogginess of the middle of the pizzas. The meat lovers was well done on top, not so much on the bottom, taking away from the enjoyment. This was our least favorite. It had plenty of toppings and the sauce used was yummy.
The Buffalo chicken had great flavor with a slight kick at the end. Not so bad that if you have a slight problem with spices, you would still enjoy it. Nice chunks of chicken full of flavor. Tasty option!
The Veggie pizza was by far our favorite. Good variety of veggies that blended well together. The sauce used on this one was slightly sweet and absolutely delicious.
Overall, we rated it a 4 because of the well done topping for the meatlovers and sogginess of the centers. This improved with reheating and eating slices the next day. Recommend giving it a try, you may have a different experience– definitely try their salads-Highly recommend them.

Today, I decided to order two salads: Caesar salads with added grilled chicken and extra croutons. We ordered the same exact salads last week, and the salads were amazing. This week, unfortunately, the salads were not so good. The chicken was ice cold, there were very few croutons, and barely any lettuce. I called the location and started talking to a gentleman about the salads. He was going to issue a gift card because he did not know how to refund the money via Toast. All of a sudden, somebody from the kitchen decided to get on the phone and be disrespectful to my wife, running his mouth and calling her a liar, which I find completely unacceptable. BAR PIZZA You have just lost a very loyal customer. Unfortunately, I will never order anything from your location, even though I love the pizza. Customer service must come first; talking to a customer with an attitude and telling them that they’re a liar is completely unacceptable. Do better.
Better yet, keep the kitchen staff in the kitchen cooking and the people answering the phones answering the phones. Apparently, this individual has zero social skills and isn’t cut out for customer service. Not only that, this individual could barely speak english.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

Everytime I drive from Jersey to Nova Scotia to visit my family I make sure to stop in Mansfield for the best bar pie around. Bar Pizza rocks and I pig out. I like to get one pie with pepperoni and jalapeños and some hot honey extra well done. I usually eat that one while driving through Massachusetts. Then I crush a tomatoe pie when I get to Maine because it’s light and crispy and a nice change to the pepperoni one. Then about 12 hours into the drive I’m hungry again and I eat the cheeseburger pizza which I love. I usually always have some leftovers for my family when I get to the 51st state. They love it also.

Big fan of the pizza here as there are a lot of fun specials and great tasting toppings but dont count out the rest of the menu! The salads are really well made and their appetizers are perfect. A personal favorite of mine is the fried mozzarella and their birria pizza is amazing! Definitely my go-to spot every weekend!

Man pizza was damn good! My favorite Italian dish ever is chicken Marsala! They happen to have a special pizza going and it was a chicken Marsala pizza. Had to try it. The dipping sauce was delicious! My wife loved her salad too! It was huge!
