The food truck showed up in Playa Vista the other night so we decided to give it a try. Great $10 pad see ew noodle with great flavors. Probably not as good as from a legit restaurant but a good pass for food truck. The portion is generous and can feed two people

I saw this place driving by last Sunday and decided to check it out today. I thought it’s only on Sunday’s, I was surprised to find out it’s a daily 5pm-midnight.
I got the papaya salad, Thai tea and pad Thai. The papaya salad was so delicious, it left me wanting more. The Thai tea was also delicious. As far as the pad that it was ok. I could have done without the dry shrimp in it. It wasn’t bad but I had better in the past.
I read few reviews regarding the portions. In my opinion the portions were reasonable and not small. It’s a perfect serving size for one person.
The atmosphere, the service, and the music were great.
Overall I give it 4.5/5 due to the pad Thai being just ok.
Definitely will go back. Next time I’ll eat there instead of “to go” so I can get even more of an authentic Thai experience.

Fried mussel pancake is done perfectly well without too much oil or overcooking the mussels. Crispy noodles came with a spot on broth that could use a small dab of fish sauce. Definitely shouldn’t be missed despite the large options of Thai food in the area

It’s street food so if you go there it’s clear you sit near the street am on plastic stools. That’s fine for us.
We had three meals and only one (the one with rice ) was acceptable. The meat was wobbly and the noodles of Pad Thai sticked together. Fried noodles where rather burned or wobbly, and the sauce was awful.

Drove by one evening after work and noticed this set up. Looks like fun and reminded me of street food set ups in Thailand. So my partner and I decided to try it out. We got there around 6p on a Sunday evening. They opened at 5pm. Busy but not too bad. Got the order in fairly quickly but it took awhile to get the food out. The service was nice. There were two different kitchens at opposite ends. One was noodle soups and the other was fried noodles and rice dish options. The soup noodles were $7 a bowl. We each got one. The smallest portions we’ve ever had. Even smaller than the portions in Thailand. The flavor was ok but for the portion we got for the price, it wasn’t worth. We were done in one bite.

Still starving, we proceeded to order a fried rice and rad na with fried noodles from the other stand. Each item was $10. The fried rice was mediocre with very little flavor. The rad na’s flavor was quite off for me. It lacked the preserved bean flavor and white pepper that is traditional to rad na. Maybe the recipe is from a different region of Thailand? The portions were a bit larger.

After spending $14 for noodle soup and $20 for the fried rice and rad na, we were left hungry. We decided to go to Sanamluang to fill the gap. It was fun to check out the new Thai street food vendors. Definitely reminded us of Thailand. We wanted to support them but for the price, tiny portions and mediocre food, we probably won’t be returning.

I visited with nephew and his family. I tried Vietnanese vegetarian pho. We also tried a pandan flavored pretzel. I liked the food.

Cheap but smaller portions. It’s fresh and the price is right. I’ve definitely had better but I love the atmosphere and how fresh everything is. I’m definitely coming back and trying everything.
