SOUVLAKI DEVIATION Growing up on the streets of Athens, a memory always brings back a smile. The traveling smell of a local grill house cooking souvlakia, penetrates our very being through the open windows along with the summer breeze. Countless fights with mothers and grandmothers to let us eat one for dinner or on the way back from school rather than what they had prepared. To this day, I don’t think we wanted to eat them because of the taste, but because of the ritual. This and many more stories of a youth spent on the street of Athens, brought us together out of nowhere, like the secret oath of a revolution that no one knew was about to begin.

An amazing experience with our group of 12
We came on a Sunday afternoon.
The atmosphere inside is gorgeous, warm, and friendly.
The staff were so pleasant and kind.
They were helpful and patient, it was many of us first time there.
The ordering process was simple and easy. We ordered and were given a number to place at our table.
The food came out fast, hot, and very fresh.
You can taste the freshness, quality of ingredients, and the love and authenticity in every bite.
Our group tried a variety of dishes, all were very pleased with the taste, freshness, portion size, and value of each item.
Among our group, we tasted the Lemon chicken soup (AMAZING), pita which was so soft and tasty, a variety of platters and meats, the hummus, falafel, and dips, and gyros.
Some had salads, others had bowls.
We also tried the ice cream and sorbet selection. They were sweet but not too sweet, very fresh and creamy.
There is much more that we want to try, every single one of us was satisfied and happy with our experience. We will be returning.
This visit was 10 out of 10 and I will recommend it to anyone, even if you have a group, they will accommodate you well. ♥️

Our family’s favorite Greek place. We have been coming here regularly over the past year. The food is great and so are the people – always smiling and very caring. We also like the unpretentious, down-to-earth setting and atmosphere.
They also just updated the menu 2 days ago, so even more reasons to visit.
We ordered the Epic Mix Grill, and when our server realized he had accidentally keyed in the wrong order (several minutes later, after we had paid and were already at our table), not only was he extremely apologetic, but he refused to let us pay the difference (he had keyed in a lower value menu item by mistake) even as he brought out what we originally wanted. Not only that, but he also treated my 3 children to a scoop of gelato each. NOW that’s what I call service!!!
Everything is delicious and genuine value for money. We love their salads and their mix grills, and truly there is something for everyone.

The food here tastes so authentic and fresh, truly reminds me of real Greek flavors. I just wish the takeout prices were a little more friendly, and it would be great if they stayed open a bit later in the evening. Still, a fantastic spot overall!

Honestly for this little corner stop in Union… some of the best Greek food I’ve had around. As much as the food and portions were filling, it’s the price that shocked me. Great affordable dinner for the family and a nice relaxing environment to enjoy. The lamb chops were very tasty and the fries were crispy without being soggy or too overcooked. The pita bread was seasoned very well and was soft and warm. The tzatziki was done very well and fresh. I recommend this if you are looking for some great greek food on the go or just somewhere to sit and dine in! The bowls are also a great go to if you are into that as well, very large!

From Greece with love! Bold, deep flavors and a ton of variety, perfect for casual dining or takeout. The Sampler is a spread-tacular starter or small meal with your choice of 3 spreads (I went with hummus, fire feta- my fave, and baba G), plus stuffed grape leaves (dolmades) and 2 pitas. I added extra pita that came with spanakopita and some other bread and this is a must with all the dips- no regrets!
For a real showstopper- the East Meat West could feed a whole family with your choice of protein. This huge tray easily feeds 4 (with leftovers) and comes stacked with lemon turmeric rice, pork (or beef or chicken) gyro, hummus, pita, tzatziki, falafel (a little greasy or Greece-y), chicken souvlaki, dolmades, and a bright vinegar-based coleslaw that I loved. Every bite hit and this place really understood the assignment.

We hosted a lunch at our office yesterday and every team member stopped me to ask where we got the food. They went back for seconds and thirds! The food was fresh, abundant, great price for the quality and amount of food in our catering order. We have several food restrictions and we managed to have something for everyone without the hassle. The flavors are incredible and the food was so fresh. The ordering process was easy and the food was ready and to go when I came to pick up. I think we have a team of new fans at the office. What can I say?!?! My family and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. You do not often find a place where every element comes together so perfectly. I can’t thank Demetra and Marinos enough for their fantastic service. They always go out of their way to accommodate our requests and made us feel like VIPs. The salads, Gyro, the mix grill, the home made tzatziki sauce!!! I wish I could tela port this food to my house. I definitely don’t mind the 45 minute drive to get the best Greek fast food that tastes like heaven!….And it’s BYOB!!
