The only reason I left off 1 star is because the owner or manager needs to take the time to update the prices on the menu but besides that the food was good. I got Ahi katsu so you can’t really mess that up lol but the front register girl Miya was an absolute ray of sunshine. Super sweet and answered all my questions and entertained my small talk. Great customer service

I don’t understand how you can mess up a simple spam musubi!! Why does is have to taste like vinegar! My baby LOVES spam musubis, this one he spat out! He said, “Yuck.” My wife also tried it and said it was very vinegary, gross. Not supposed to taste like that. I went back and asked if they could possibly remake it without the rice vinegar. The cook just told me “No” there was nothing he can do and no refunds! Crazy!! Horrible customer service!! Lost me business for sure!

I’m always impressed by how huge their cali maki sushi is, and with spicy ahi on top, you can’t go wrong! Love that it comes with a hot wakame soup on the side as well. Great combo and price!

So although its been awhile, I’ve eaten takeout from here many times before and I always get the same thing all the time, the #14 Teriyaki Beef Bowl with Black Rice. You have your choice of rice including white but i can get white rice anywhere. I can’t get black. Good tasting and healthy. Comes with small cup of clear broth. $14.99 isn’t cheap by any means hence the 4 stars but it is unique and different from my usual, plus rising costs of ingredients, mall rent and just plain running a business in Hawaii, $14.99 is almost average. Its clean, employees are friendly and I’m satisfied so it works out fine. Will be back.

The food here was terrible. The chicken and bulgogi was kind of bland but edible. I’m convinced that the eel I got was bad. Like the fish has gone bad, it tasted rotten. The miso soup, I noticed immediately didn’t smell right. It tasted like warm dirty water, I would not reccomend eating here ever. I think the food could have made me sick if I ate more than 2 bites.

The spicy ahi poke roll was absolutely disgusting; tasted like the fish was not fresh/a couple days old, and was VERY funky compared to any other poke I’ve had.
Hard pass, will not come here again. Says “no refund” right on the plexiglass next to the cash register, so it’s a non-starter to try and get my money back for the disgusting food that I couldn’t touch after the first bite.

Bought 2 premium poke bowls, one salmon and the other the ahi poke with 4 pieces of sashimi. Both bowls the fish was no good and had to be thrown away. I do not recommend eating there.

We live on the Windward side and will drive to Pearlridge to pick up dinner from Poke & Bento Ya. Their service is outstanding and the sashimi is always fresh!

Food was bland, what u get is not worth the money. As a poki lover, disappointed. I’ve tried many places, this is far the least favorite place to buy poki/sushi. Wouldn’t eat here again.
