The owners are so incredibly friendly and attentive. Food came out expeditiously. Wish they automatically included all of the dining room condiments with your takeout order; they ask you if you want tartar sauce and ketchup. But, there’s no lemon or malt vinegar offered. Their fish is also fried incredibly soft. Some of the edges were crispy. Next time I’ll ask them to fry it longer. Fish portion is also very small.

Top notch service. Food is piping hot and fresh. I ordered the seafood sampler ($17.99) to try a little bit of everything. Came with fried fish, oysters, shrimps, clam strips, and fries. Their house made tartar and cocktail sauce really hits the mark. Nice beer and craft soda selection. I’m glad I found this place and Tugboat now is in my weekly rotation!

First time there with a regular customer. What a suprise! Excellent batter, fresh oils, had fish, hush puppies and a few veggies as well. I would pretty much call it a tempura batter as it is beautifully cooked. Nice job, you have earned another customer! : )

I ordered two fish and a side of hush puppies, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor—it really hit the spot. The hush puppies were perfectly cooked, and the fish was some of the best I’ve had in a while. On top of that, the restaurant was very clean, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a nice atmosphere!

Ordered the fish and prawns and fries. Got one piece of fish and 4 prawns. Also a small cup of clam chowder. Very tasty, good crisps, was not soggy at all. Ate in, was provided bottle of tartar sauce, ketchup cocktail sauce ( all refrigerated). On the table was malt vinegar. 4 tables of 4 and 2 tables of three at the restaurant. Price is reasonable but as always seafood is average more cost than most fast food. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Stopped in for a quick bite and comparison and must say, it was very good. Light batter on the fish and prawns and the hush puppies were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The husband/wife team and very sweet but hard to understand their broken English but again, they were willing to help out any way they could. We will definitely be back but need a break from everything being fried! Cheers!!

Great price, great service, great sauce, and great fish. However, I am knocking off a star for the fries; they were a bit bland. Other than that, I can definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to eat fish n chips!

The owners of this place have been doing it right for many, many years! We love going here during Lent but even outside of that we eat here! They do a great job on their fried fish and fried vegetables. They have some tasty lumpia too!

I came here on a Tuesday to try the fish tacos. It’s a small place. I walked in and was greeted right away. As I looked over the menu. I decided to try nates fish tacos. They sounded so good.
The tacos come in flour tortillas…not corn. That was different. I do prefer corn over flour for sure…but they were still good. They are packed with fish pieces that were fried. Not one whole piece. It also comes with slaw and a spicy sauce on top. There are French fries under the tacos and a lemon wedge. You can get two tacos for 6.49 and 3 tacos for 8.49…this is only on Tuesday.
They also sell many other items such as clam chowder…lumpia…fish and clams…prawns..oysters and chicken among others.
Their tartar sauce is so good. If your looking for some really good fish tacos or fried food…give this place a try.
