This was our first visit here to Annette’s – we’ve been hearing about it & decided to go in see what it’s all about !
Well, as we entered we were greeted & welcomed .. the staff was very nice .
We ordered our drinks , coffee was perfect , as we looked over the menu our waitress checked on us & answered all the questions we had . Placed our order & believe me when I say “They did NOT disappoint” my husband ordered the pancake & eggs – all was perfect ✅ I ordered the Annette’s Breakfast special & guess what it’s WAS PERFECT ✅ eggs over medium – came out just right the first time now let me tell you about the prices – The quality of the food The prices are superb , for the amount of food you get & the quality this place has to have the BEST prices I’ve ever seen & breakfast . I’ve been to a lot of places ! My breakfast was #7 on the menu $6.25 unbelievable ! I pray everyone supports local small businesses like this one . If you haven’t been be sure to stop in at Annette’s .
We must go back for my husband to try their red beans – so stay tuned ! Our server was Kira & she’s a rockstar – we’re back today 08/14/25 & Mrs Susan is rocking it as well !

Annette’s is a good breakfast joint. The food is delicious and the prices are unbeatable! Thank you to the two ladies who helped clean around mine and the kids’ table- we had an accident. this is your grandmama cooked it type place hands down best breakfast i have had so far in the hammond area, the french toast sandwich is a hidden gem the breakfast burrito way better than any fast food one and its practically the same cost or cheaper in comparison 100% recommend go here

This is what I consider a “hole in the wall”. The fried chicken is second to none! I look forward to coming to this little city just for the fried chicken! The sides are not worthy of being on the same plate. The collard greens are too salty and the rice and gravy lacks flavor. The staff are very friendly and the place makes you feel like you are in on the secret.

1st time trying this place. We got a late start at breakfast 9:15. Place was busy . Lots of friendly people. Service e was great. They were out of orange juice. We placed our order then after 15 minutes, the server came out to tell us they were out of sausage gravy, which is what my wife ordered. The food did not arrive until 10:05. I normally would just get up and leave but like I said the server kept stopping by and apologizing. As far as the food they brought out our pancakes first and then it took another 8 minutes for my eggs and sausage.
Not a great experience. The food was good.
