First time trying a restaurant from El Salvador. I know people from there and I have tried pupusas but never in a restaurant. Now I can say the food is delicious, we tried another dishes for breakfast and they were as great as the pupusas. “Cafe de olla” delicioso. Kenia was our server and she is great. Whenever we come back to Dallas will be back here.

This was the worst place I have ever eaten in my adult life. The service was absolutely the worst. The food was Aweful. The meat in the Guiso was so tuff. Rice tasted like water, the refried beans were literally soup and no spoon, just a fork. Once we finished and got our check(just two of us) there was a 15% gratuity added and should not have been. Tip is to show gratitude. I always tip no matter because everyone needs to eat, but to be forced to tip is another thing. There is absolutely no disclosure clearly posted anywhere and they label it a service charge. I STRESS DO NOT GO THERE!!! HOT MESS SERVICE AND HORRIBLE FOOD!!!!!!!!! There were two tables taken in the entire place. I should have known. Can’t wait to see what kind of defensive reply they will leave. That’s a huge tall tale sign of an unprofessional owner.

Their pupusas are sooooo good and always fresh!! staff are always so friendly and helpful! We came for breakfast and my sister had never had Salvadoran food and she was obsessed!!! the pumpkin horchata was 10/10

Right off the top, yes, go here, the food is delicious!
We found this place by coincidence, just driving around looking for a bite to eat. Here starts my, albeit small, issue with this place.
It is extremely unassuming, even walking in, the restaurant ambience is just kinda bland and doesn’t stand out at all.
I’d hate to see this place go because they didn’t draw people in, specially since their food is very good!
We had the pollo con tajadas and several of the pupusas. The pupusas were as good as I’ve ever had and the chicken with plantains was a delicious take on a sorta garbage plate but Salvadorian, highly recommend it.
The service here is nice, very attentive wait staff, all smiles and very polite, gave me a chance to practice my Spanish.
All in all, this place needs a bit of a better ambience, but the food is on point, can’t wait to go back!

Was told I had to purchase something in order to use the restroom there? They had nobody there eating so, I guess if they dont have much service they reserve their restrooms for customers only. After asking “So I have to buy something in order to use the restroom?” They laughed at me. I wasnt going to leave a bad review at first, but now im upset that I was treated this way. At this point its not even about the reservations of the restrooms, now its about the attitude of the staff there and that I was made fun of in my face.

Over priced Bland food . Horrible service. Also to be a Hispanic restaurant .. the atmosphere in there is negative. And salvadoreños are positive people. I grew up eating salvadorean food . They don’t represent El Salvador well . Also I truly felt like they were even condescending towards me and my Hispanic friends. We were all shocked bc it is a Hispanic rt. Don’t waste your money here . Try Marias rt a little pass it .Trust me

Horrible place to eat, food is very bland and high in price I could go to Taco Bell and get better service and food. You are automatically charge for a tip even if the service sucks and they will not take it off. I will not go back to this place and I would not recommend.

The food was amazing! Our waitress was attentive and although there was a language barrier with us not speaking fluent Spanish and her not speaking fluent English, everything came out perfectly and we really loved it. I will definitely be coming back to try more stuff from the menu!
