Love it here. Waitress was great and stayed on top of our needs. We ordered the shrimp with two sides and “the beast” burger. We also got the apple dumpling for dessert. Food came out fast and was delicious. The only reason I gave four stars is the fact that there’s only one bathroom and the door is extremely hard to lock and I feel uncomfortable using it with no one walking in on me. Otherwise, the service and food are 5 stars. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing, simply amazing!
This is the second time we stopped there with our MINI Cooper rally. This time we had almost 50 cars. The owner, helped me park the cars, we had them double and triple parked. That alone was a challenge. Seating everyone was the next challenge, but they got that handled. I think we used every chair they had, and then some. Food came out as quickly as could be expected, given the size of our group. Actually, that alone was pretty impressive. I didn’t hear a single complaint about anyone’s food. I know for a fact my hamburger and fries were as good an any I’ve had.
All in all, if we’re ever near Moorefield again, whether with the MINI folks, or traveling solo I assure you, I’ll go out of my way to return. Good food, super clean restaurant and restrooms, very friendly staff and great prices. This place is an absolute gem. A lot of restaurants could learn a thing or two from them.

Stopped in for ice cream! Delicious! Friendly folks, rustic atmosphere. Plenty of parking in the lot and a little front yard for kids to enjoy. Beautiful wrap around porch with outdoor seating. Exit Rt. 48, quick drive through town, and you’re there. Accessible ramp to restaurant. Cute little town!

Food was pretty good for this roadside diner. We ordered the pulled pork eggrolls, which could have used some bbq sauce cooked in with the roll. It was on the side but very little in the roll. We also ordered the beast burger. It tasted good, but from what the menu read, it should have definitely been more flavorful with those ingredients. The server was super nice. Overall, it was a decent stop on our way through.

I heard great things but I was extremely disappointed. Ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich that had no bacon or ranch. The chicken was over cooked and dry. I sent the sandwich back and when I got it back, they refused the old chicken patty and put it on a new bun with the right accompaniments.
The service was lacking. Not very friendly and the attention of the staff was anywhere but the tables.

Worth the hour drive it takes for us to get there. Food tastes as good as it looks. Good steaks, sandwiches, and more. Hand dipped ice cream. The Beast Burger is bison, beef, elk and something else that escapes my memory is good. 2lb steak is also an option. Food has always been good and service is friendly and fast.

We were on our way to Williamsburg Virginia, from Pittsburgh. Stop in for breakfast. What a great place. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you’re passing through.
