They baked us dairy free cupcakes, smash cake, and regular cake all to match my one fish two fish red fish blue fish theme. The cupcakes and cake were hands down the best desserts me and many of my friends have eaten. It was an almost two hour drive to the bakery from our house (oops for not checking the map beforehand) and we plan on making this drive over and over again. Everyone raved about the taste and presentation.
They were also super friendly, helpful, and genuine. You will absolutely not be disappointed! Picture of my son enjoying his special first birthday smash cake!

Where do I start with this amazing bakery?
The owner? The DELICIOUS cupcakes or the to die for cookies??
Well, to make it short and simple… Kelly the creator and owner of this bakery is absolutely wonderful, she is educated, kind, & spontaneous. You will leave her bakery with a smile on your face!
I absolutely praise this bakery because it’s VEGAN, ORGANIC & CLEAN. You will not find another bakery in Delaware that’s vegan and uses such clean, pure ingredients, let alone, everything taste AMAZING. The cupcakes melt in your mouth and the cookies are so soft they resemble a cake.
Kelly also did the cake & cupcake arrangements for my daughters 4th vegan birthday party. We called her a few days before her birthday party and she made it happen even though she was booked!
She made an amazing Frozen theme cake & cupcakes for us & nobody could believe they were vegan.
I order from this bakery serval times a month as it’s just that worth it!

This place is a rare gem! I live in VA and visit family and friends in the coastal Delaware area often — despite not living in DE I had no issue finding Bella’s Cookies to pick up my order. For those of us who don’t have “ the world as our oyster”, so to speak, we do not mind taking the time to make an appointment to pick up special bakes that are as amazing as the cookies and cupcakes I picked up yesterday afternoon! I am not ashamed to say that most of these incredibly delicious treats did not survive our 2.5 hrs. drive back home — as I could not stop eating them while telling my spouse the entire drive home how amazing the cupcakes and cookies are…were! My spouse who has no special dietary restrictions, like myself, and is usually my “normal” blind taste tester also agreed and raved about how moist and delicious the cupcakes were, and the perfectly baked cookies (crisp on outside with a chewy-yumminess on the inside). I have finally found the one!! … not spouse, but bakery, Bella’s Cookies! Thank you so much Kelly Leishear for all your hard work, dedication, and passion while infusing your culinary artistic talents and perfecting the science of baking! I mean, WOW! Had I known the bakes were this delicious, I would have ordered more! Expect to hear back from me very soon, if not today, to schedule another appointment to pick up more of your delicious baked treats!

I don’t know where to start with this review. Everything that I have tried over the years, from Bella’s Cookies, is absolutely delicious. Everything! Yes, they are a vegan bakery, and they cater to people with food allergies and / or people trying to live a healthier “plant based” lifestyle but if they didn’t tell you that, you would never know. Their recipes are top-notch, and they use quality ingredients. I can tell by their products that they have a passion for what they do. Keep doing what you do. You are an inspiration to those around you.

Highly Recommend this baker. I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my baby shower. Everyone loved the cake and cupcakes. They were absolutely delicious. She also accommodated my health problems so I could enjoy the cake myself. I will come back to Bella’s Cookies for future sweet tooth needs!

I have tried many different cookies, cakes, and pies from Bella’s Cookies, and they always impress me. Every item is made with healthier ingredients, but don’t be worried about sacrificing the taste of desserts just because you see the word “healthy”. They do an amazing job of using vegan, organic, and gluten free baking styles with amazing flavor. It makes me happy to know I can enjoy a dessert that tastes so good and is better for my health.

Who knew there was a magical vegan bakery tucked away in a residential neighborhood in Milton DE? The cookies are out of this world. I asked for a sampling of best sellers and I was not disappointed. Favorites were Appledoodle and Molasses. Big, soft cookies with just the right chewy texture. Highly recommend for vegans or anyone who like cookies!
