I’ve lived in Schenectady my whole life and had Chinese everywhere’s and I still believe this is probably the best one! Honestly I love their food and their wonton soup is the best I’ve had compared to the other places out here. You rock china star keep doing what your doing the food is so good ! ❤️-

This is my new favorite chinese spot tried it today for first time off a recommendation and so glad I went for it the shrimp rolls were also had sweet n sour chicken w pork fried rice and sesame chicken w plain lo mein noodles and crab ragoons everything was good loved that the sesame chicken was in smaller pieces most chinese places give huge chunks but this place makes it perfect will go back again for sure

Boneless ribs were hard to chew almost seems like old reheated food. The pork fried rice was bland and Lomein was the same. Overall bad over price Chinese.

China Star is legendary in this area, they have been around for a very LONG time providing excellent Chinese food. But the true star here in my opinion is their Garlic Sauce! The garlic sauce is the best in the region by far with absolutely amazing flavor that you can enjoy with either chicken, Fried wontons (cream cheese or pork), etc. So if you give this place a shot I highly suggest getting this you won’t regret it! They also sell the sauce on the side!

I couldn’t give stars for atmosphere as it was delivery, but from the person who answered and took my order, to the food and delivery person 5 all the way. Respectful, on time, didn’t show up with music blasting from the car, the food delicious and fresh!! My daughter recommended and it was my first experience, I will order again.

The majority of the time the sweet & sour chicken is soggy. This time, they managed to burn it, but still make sure it was soggy when it finally got to us over an hour after ordering.
Not only was the chicken inedible, but they didn’t bring the hot sauce that was noted as requested all over the receipt, so we couldn’t even eat the bland fried rice.
Two sweet & sour chicken combos with one side of chicken for our son, over $40, all thrown in the garbage.
Complained on the app and got a text asking if I had “any questions about our chicken”. Really? Questions? The only question I have is; When will I receive my refund?

This food is the best by far in this area!! Fresh and hot upon delivery!! I don’t know who makes that gravy for the foo young, but let me tell you it’s delicious!! Keep doing what you’re doing, the food was awesome!!
