For decades, there has been no Capital Grill happy hour until now when the Capital Hour was born. We arrived at 3 PM and stayed till 6 PM and ate and drank our way through the Capital Hour menu which you can find in the photos. We had two wines, the Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Both decent wines at the happy hour price point. We also enjoyed the “Straight Up” Martini. The “Peach Bourbon Smash” and the Old Fashioned all prepared expertly by David, our bartender. All of the drinks were better than described and artistically presented. The food was as follows from the Capital Hour menu (In order of excellence)
Lamb Chops
Dry aged New York Strip
Cast Iron Garlic Shrimp
Oysters Casino
Mushroom Truffle Arancini
Parmesan Truffle oil Fries

All of the dishes were well executed and very tasty. The meat cuts were prime and the lamb chops may be the best in North America. If you like lamb, you’ve gotta try these especially at this price point.

It’s great to sit at a fancy steak house and taste your way through the kitchen all at a reasonable price. It’s not cheap compared to Outback but it is well worth the price for the food and service. Did I mention how awesome David at the bar was? Of course I did.

The Capital Grille is my favorite steakhouse. They finally set up a happy hour and it did not disappoint!! Started w the ny strip strips, then lamb chops and a salad from their lunch menu followed by shrimp, oysters, arancini and truffle fries (yes, we might’ve gotten carried away lol). It all delicious! I personally loved the lamb more than the steak. $8 wine is fantastic and great value. Kid-free, we like to sit at the bar and David, the bartender, was attentive, friendly and down-to-earth. Compared to other local steakhouse happy hours, capital grille once again is my favorite!

Had dinner here on New Year’s Day and it was an absolutely outstanding experience.

Our host, Sean, was incredibly attentive, fun to talk to, and knew a lot about the items on the menu. He explained preparation for the dishes very well, and gave us recommendations on complementary sides.

I ordered the Kona Crusted Bone-in NY Strip, which was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The onion butter was out of this world, and the steak was perfectly cooked.

Our table shared mashed potatoes and soy-glazed brussel sprouts, bot of which were outstanding sides.

Simply couldn’t ask for a nicer meal to bring in the new year. Thank you!

The Capital Grille is a great place for a nice meal. The food is very good, especially the steaks, which are cooked just right. The service is friendly and professional, and the staff pa attention without rushing you. The restaurant feels elegant but comfortable. It is expensive, but the quality of the food and service makes it worth it. I would recommend it for special occasions!

I went on a dinner date with friend and family and the experience over there was fun and amazing. The chef keeps checking on us and make sure we are good or need anything. He also gave us roses to compliment us and it was a great dinner date overall. I got the mashed potatoes and the bone in crusted dry age NY strip; it’s so good and also tried their scallops. I will def be visiting again.

This was a birthday dinner, and wow — what an experience.
What I love most about The Capital Grille is the welcome. It’s very much “we know you could have chosen anywhere else, and we’re genuinely glad you chose us — now sit back and let us take care of everything.”
Basically Beauty and the Beast vibes… minus the singing cutlery.

Our server Sean was absolutely fantastic — a real credit to the Grille. Warm, funny, patient, and polished. I’m softly spoken (especially in loud environments), and instead of frustration, he handled it with care — politely confirming what he’d heard rather than the dreaded “what?”.
He was equally attentive to his other tables too — even the anxious, high-maintenance one featuring a woman with the facial expression of a bulldog chewing a wasp. Service personified. Model everyone on him. I approve.

Food highlights:
• Fresh onion soup — rich and delicious
• Filet mignon — cooked perfectly, exactly as requested
• Creamed spinach & sautéed potatoes — yes please

They surprised Brian with a birthday plate featuring cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake. I helped. Both were excellent.

From the food to the ambiance to the genuine hospitality — this was a full dining experience.
Though… some people rocking up in lululemon leggings? Not quite the dress code energy for somewhere this lovely.

A good spot to celebrate special occasions 🙂 our waiter was super attentive and accomodating. When my parents said they were celebrating an anniversary, they surprised them with complimentary desserts, champagne, and roses!

Steaks were on point, and paired well with the roasted wild mushrooms! Parmesan truffle fries were a bit mid, not very crispy. Tbh the sides are supposed to be shareable but portions are honestly small.

I did really like the Seared Scallops, seasoned very well, and balanced flavors!

Delicious food, great service. What more can you ask for? We reserved a table to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating. I spoke with the manager who allowed us to have flowers delivered prior to our arrival. Our food service attendant Raul was wonderful. He was kind, courteous, and very attentive. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you for making our evening special!

If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out on a dining experience. Service is always how you want it, food is delicious, and the drinks are perfectly paired. Rarely can one find themselves in a situation where they have too many lamb chops to eat. You can dine around the world at any tier restaurant and this one will always hold it’s own.
