Honestly review. For the price we paid, I wish it was better. The atmosphere was beautiful and parking was fine for us. We waited by the front door a long while because no one was there to greet us when we walked in. It was also a cold night so when we was seated I kept my jacket on because the host at the front kept opening and walking out the front door to look outside throughout the night. My ravioli plate was cold and my partner’s stake was rare. He couldn’t eat half of it. He asked for middle well done. Which he had to repeat twice. Our server was kind and attentive and gave us a complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was sweet. We got a drink as well which was so strong, we couldn’t enjoy it or finish it. This place had a lot of potential and maybe we just went on a bad night but I dont think we will be returning.

We just photographed a wedding at Restaurant Claudine, and it instantly became one of our favorite intimate venues in San Antonio. This place is charm wrapped in elegance — every corner feels warm, stylish, and full of personality. The architecture, the textures, the light… it all comes together in a way that makes photographing here an absolute joy.
The staff was incredible to work with. They were attentive, welcoming, and completely invested in making the couple’s day feel effortless. From coordinating the timeline to keeping the atmosphere relaxed, they made our job (and the couple’s experience) smooth from start to finish.
And the food? Unreal. Easily some of the best we’ve ever had at a wedding — and that’s saying something after 200+ events!
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s intimate, beautifully curated, and centered around an incredible guest experience, Restaurant Claudine is a standout choice. As photographers, we can’t recommend it enough.

Restaurant Claudine is such a gem! We went for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and charming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as fabulous. A perfect spot for a special night out… I can’t wait to go back! ️

My husband and I chose Claudine to dine at for my birthday dinner this year. I’ve heard good things online but maybe those were outdated. I was looking forward to the menu and the ambience but upon arrival, it was practically empty on a Friday night…during happy hour I might add. The drinks themselves were enjoyable, nothing really memorable. I was excited to enjoy the escargot, and it was very much overcooked. I ordered the steak frites (a $45 plate) with the temperature of medium rare. Not only did it come out medium but it was also cut incorrectly, leaving it incredibly chewy. My husband ordered the ravioli and the pasta was certainly undercooked. The service itself was not an issue though. I’m sad to say that Claudine will not be on my recommendation list.

Tea Time was a nice experience, very cutesy, no dress code, $30 per person, our server was very attentive, and perfect for a girls day! Tea is steeped fresh in your tables personal tea pot, you can try all the teas one at a time but we only tried three. We started with oolong, lavender white next, and ended with immunitea. I think the teas were great quality, could really taste all the flavors/herbs but lavender white was my favorite! The tea comes with a bowl of sugar cubes, honey, and lemon upon request.
Tea time comes with finger foods, they weren’t impressive but not bad. The biscuits with Brie and jam was my favorite bite. Out of the 4 sandwiches I enjoyed the shrimp and egg salad sandwiches the most. The seasonal bar (I can’t remember the flavor) was moist and flavorful. A typical deviled egg, the crust for the cheesecake bite was salty, and the quiche was personally too mushy for me. Macaroons were personally way too sweet for me but that’s always the case for macaroons with me.
Overall, we had a good time and would definitely do tea time with friends again. The menu looked good and I would definitely order something from it next time.

The restaurant was a lovely space. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the customer service. The only cons were a couple of the dishes were slightly cold or at room temperature. Also our escargot took forever to come out but the waitress removed it from our tab. I would highly recommend the fried chicken! I give this place an 8.5 out of 10. I highly recommend and would revisit again. Perfect for date night.

I’ve visited Claudine several times over the past two weeks, and I’m consistently impressed. The steak is hands down the best in town—cooked perfectly every time. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, and the service truly stands out. The servers are genuinely kind and attentive, which feels rare these days. Special shout-out to Francisco for making each visit great. Highly recommend.

Went here for a birthday brunch. The atmosphere is so cute and we loved it. You get to choose the tea you like and they bring out different sandwiches and treats. It was all very delicious. They have a regular menu too although we were satisfied with the tea time menu. The service was phenomenal. We had so much fun getting dressed up and having a girls tea time. I will definitely be going back.

Went during restaurant week which was Great introduction to this restaurant. I love the atmosphere and the music in the restaurant. Surprisingly, my favorite dish was the heirloom salad which was simply two slices of tomatoes over an arugula bed and pistachio toppings, but this combination works so well. I will literally go back just for the salad Overall, pricey but I definitely left full.

We came for my grandmothers birthday. We have a tradition of taking her for tea and were so elated find a place that had a formal tea party option in the city.
The tea options were wide and delicious. The pastries and sandwiches were alright. The food was good but either too high in salt or lacking flavour. Overall okay.
The atmosphere is the best part as we thoroughly enjoyed being there.
Parking was hard.
