I went and asked if they could do just an egg, potato, and cheese taco. She said no potato. She asked what tortilla, I said flour. I asked how much from the beginning for it and she turned around the card reader that said $5.75. That’s ridiculous from the start. I was surprised and said whoa this is too much. She immediately dropped it to $4.25. I said okay. It was ready and it was the smallest taco I’ve ever seen. Thin like a hot dog and with wrong tortilla made with one egg. First the pricing issue and then quality issue. I wouldn’t recommend just based off this it’s weird.

Highly under rated, super sweet lady. Very communicative about the menu and imo better than taco temple. The avocado sauce is amazing on the el pastor. *update* I continue to eat here occasionally and still haven’t been disappointed, everything is consistent

We have been coming here for years and absolutely love every time that we come. The tacos are top notch but I especially love the papusas. I crave the papusas and eventually have to cave in and return at least once a month. The owner is such a sweet lady that has made the whole crew feel like our family. I especially love the growth of her parents learning English and running the truck along side her. This is my favorite food truck in asheville and there’s nothing I haven’t loved on the menu. The chicken is a great value and love the greasy bacon cheese burgers too.

We absolutely love the local buggy. It warms my heart every time I think of this place it brings me back to my mama’s kitchen, and I can feel the love of home when I eat food of this quality it makes me happy that the local buggy strives and continues to provide the community with an outstanding masterpiece.

I was visiting from Scotland and local buggy was recommended, the food was delicious, the owners really friendly and the Horchata…omg the Horchata! That stuff is like heaven in a cup. Can’t wait till I visit again, that’s gonna be the first thing I buy!

Talk about making me want to go to Asheville again this place is the one! We live right down the street from this place and made it a staple miss it so much the best Papua and metcoola. Great said too we really love what she has done with the place to pull right up the highway and have a little slice of silence out there with some great food as heaven.

Been coming here for many years since they were in the Home Depot lot. The owner is so sweet! I always get the same thing so when I get to the front of the line she’s already got it rang in. Great tacos! Reasonable price- they have gone up over time but what hasn’t? 1000000/10!!!
