What a disappointment! I’ve been going here since they opened, but this will be the last. Today I picked up a sandwich, and when I opened it, the avocado was completely out of the sandwich (like that is where it was originally placed, none inside), making an absolute mess! Everything else was just between the mismatched bread in total chaos and squishing out every end of the cut-through bun. I have never seen such a mess! When I called and explained, the girl who answered said she would hand the call to someone who could help. As she was handing the owner the phone, she told him “good luck with this one”. When the owner picked up the phone, I said did I just hear her say “good luck with this one”? Which he denied, and I told him I clearly heard that. The disrespect was worse than the child-made sandwich. Don’t let the young ginger make your sandwich, unless you plan on wearing gloves and a bib! Good bye Beach Hut, too bad, you were doing so well.

I love the Hobie sandwich. It’s delicious! The restaurant feels very welcoming. There are always multiple employees, they are friendly, happy to help, and attentive. The sandwiches are priced for the quality food they contain. You can tell the food is fresh and they are not skimping on ingredients. Each time I’ve gone, my food has come out quickly and correctly. They have worked hard to make the atmosphere nice. I can’t wait to enjoy the outside seating area in the spring. Thank you for creating a wonderful place to eat!

My sister and I stopped here on our way to Lake Tahoe. Everyone that worked here were amiable, knowledgeable, and efficient. We ordered the turkey and cheese sandwich and roast beef sandwich. Super good and delicious! Also, the prices were reasonable and affordable. Thank you for being awesome 🙂
