“A true hidden gem — family-owned and full of heart!”
This small, family-run Mexican restaurant makes you feel right at home. The food tastes like it came straight from the family kitchen — authentic, flavorful, and prepared with so much care.
The owners are warm, welcoming, and treat every guest like part of their family. You can tell they put love into every detail, from the homemade tortillas to the fresh salsas. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and you always leave with a smile.
Supporting this restaurant means supporting a hard-working family that gives back to the community. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with heart, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This is my #2 favorite Mexican restaurant in topeka. El centenario downtown is #1 but this place is delicious. The el pastor tostada is a great item and crunchy al pastor tacos are delicious to. This place is worth the money and the portions are decent. Try the milanesa torta…..its a chicken fried steak sandwich essentially.

Great little walk up place. Menu board with lots of options. Many different meat choices. After you order they give you a buzzer to let you know when it’s ready.
We ordered many different items to try. We loved the nachos, hard shell tacos, chimichanga, and burrito. Their green sauce is fire. Hot and delicious. Their salsa is a cooler flavor. We really liked both.
The only thing we wouldn’t order again is the enchiladas, as we like them saucier.
Overall a great price experience, we will be back!

It is one of the best Spanish restaurants in town. It is not very big on the inside. I believe most people phone their orders ahead of time. The food is amazing. Staff is always friendly. They have never messed up a single order. Unbeknownst to me, one day, i saw the open sign on and just stopped in, and when we were leaving, I noticed what time they closed. We got there 5 min before it closed, and they made my somewhat big order anyway. Outstanding service.

The food was tasty, but the portions were small and overpriced. I ordered a torta, eight tacos, and two Cokes—$38 total. The portions were more like a kid’s meal. Across the street at the Cemitas food truck, I spent the same amount and got two huge tortas, six tacos, and fries. Much better value for the money.

I didnt actually go into the business, I ordered it on doordash, it was quick service, nice man who delivered it, and very good tasting food. Prices affordable for good amount of food, I got the “All american breakfast” ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!! I would highly recommend going there, my only issue is on the website i purchased dasani water and it gave me a cheap Walmart botteled water. Another issue is there was a few hairs in my food, I personally hate germs and almost cried when I saw the hairs, but I sucked it up and ate it, definitely so good. i rate this place an over all 9/10 and I will be eating there again.
Edit: forgot to add this in but the firey corn is not very good. Just not my cup of tea.
