Absolutely loved our experience at Waffle Bite! We ordered the apple cinnamon toast, and it was AMAZING — perfectly golden, warm, and full of flavor. The cinnamon-spiced apples were soft and delicious, and the whipped cream on top was the perfect finishing touch. Every bite was comforting and fresh.
We also tried savory breakfast items, and everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, the food tasted homemade, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
Highly recommend Waffle Bite for breakfast or brunch — we’ll definitely be back!

Darn! I wanted this to be a good experience so bad. The food was fine, but wow, the wait times were crazy. Our server took forever to take our order. The manager was very nice. He saw us waiting and finally got the server to come over and take our order.
Our server on the other hand was not great. She said she’d come back and she never would. She didn’t ask us if we wanted hash browns or country potato’s, or if we wanted bacon or sausage with our breakfast. She didn’t ask how we wanted our eggs either, and our eggs never even arrived with our order. When we asked for our eggs and pointed out that we never got any, she did not apologize or seem bothered. She said okay and said they’d be out soon. 20-30 minutes go by, and we had not received our eggs still. We asked again and again since we were in a hurry for work, and she said they’d be out soon. The manager came over and we told him too, but we still never received our eggs. I think that the food was good, but I can’t leave a good review if I pay full price for my meal and never even receive a part of the dish at all. It doesn’t take an hour to make an egg, I feel like it should have been a priority to just get it done rather than putting me behind every other order. I had already waited long enough, and shouldn’t have to wait all over again.

I truly enjoyed my chicken fried steak tender, crisp, and full of flavor. The rich gravy stole the show, making every forkful amazing. The sausage was outstanding, honestly one of the finest I’ve tried. Service was warm and friendly, and the retro, old-school interior added a fun nostalgic feel. A fantastic stop for a comforting meal.

The Waffles were amazing, they had everything from fresh fruit topped Waffles to Whipped Butter and Syrup but also Nutella and several other options! It’s a really cute fun place for special occasions. Great Mimosa selections and special coffees & other drinks! Definitely going back!

I ordered the churro French toast combo, my friend ordered the veggie scramble with ham & a side of fruit. Everything was DELICIOUS!! If I had known about this place, I would’ve come here for breakfast everyday while I was in town. This restaurant has a lot of space to accommodate big parties, which is something I always look for as I have a big family. I will definitely be back when I’m back in town.

Waffle Bite Valentine Brunch 2026 – Chaos, but delicious.
This restaurant serves reasonably delicious food and a great menu of options for breakfast, brunch, lunch and drinks, but they are very much chaotic and struggling. The wait times for everything from seating, being waited on, having our orders taken, being given syrup for our orders, and getting our cheque, all took unreasonably long. We also were meant to get fruit with our order, and it never came.
For context’s sake of our experience, we called ahead and were told no reservations needed even though it’s Valentines day, they always have free tables.
My significant other and I arrived there close to 10am. They were nice, but rushed. We got put on a waitlist and told 10 min wait time. One single person was in front of us. They got seated immediately. We were seated about 20-25 mins later.
The host came to our table to ask if we needed any drinks, and when we tried to ask the host a question about the drinks she was (mildly) rude and dismissive. We were confused as she had asked if we wanted her to get us any drinks, but could not answer our question on it. Our server took 10-15 minutes to come to our table, was extremely nice, but also rushed us on our order and rarely reappeared following that.
We spent an hour longer there than we hoped, cutting into other plans. What was extra frustrating is that other tables were being seated, waited on, and emptied all around us, before anyone was even coming to us. For some reason our service was far slower than anyone around us. We did not order anything special or unusual or that took long, or take long to decide our orders.
The food was good. Not amazing, but absolutely better than just average. They had some great clearly housemade sauces.
Overall, the food was good, company (my s/o) was far better, and service mostly nice but extremely chaotic. They seemed incredibly unprepared for Valentines Day.
A bit of a “yikes” experience, I would say. Worth giving a try on another day, I’m sure, but highly disappointing experience as I had highhopes.
