Excellent Cajun/Creole food. I had the Muffaletta Sandwich and the seafood etuofee. I will be going back. Oh the beignets are good too.

Had a wonderful lunch at Garibaldi’s. Tucked away in a small medical complex, this is a hidden gem for sure! We had the Starburst Salad with Shrimp and the Shrimp Po Boy. It’s hard to find good Cajun food this side of the Mississippi- but this place hit the spot! Beignets were soft and delicious! I highly recommend you check it out!

Food was really good, but it came out so hot we had to wait for it cool enough to eat! We ordered based on recommendations after looking at the menu. We got the Momma’s Seafood Gumbo, Muffuletta Sandwich hot, Momma’s Red Beans and Rice with Andouille, and the Beignets. Gumbo was very good, but outshined by the Red Beans and Rice. The sandwich was stellar, though I think cold may be the better option (which was the recommendation I didn’t go with). Beignets we’re good, but could’ve been fluffier, and honestly tasted more like a fried biscuit with powdered sugar on top. Red Beans and Rice was the star of the meal. Portions were big enough we got an entire second meal out of it.

Service was good, no waiting and food came out fast. We were the only customers, so I’m sure that helped. But I also think it’s just how they roll. The man that took our order was very polite and helpful with his suggestions. Didn’t get checked on much, if at all, after the food was delivered though.

Atmosphere was really kind of boring. Baby blue and white walls, bunch of randomly stacked bowls in cabinets and on shelves, Mardi Gras beads on the tables and hanging from some good art work. Not quite what I imagine it would be like in Cajun/Creole cultures from the little I know of them; not enough bright colors and energy with too much light. The least attractive and most uncomfortable part were the plastic folding chairs in the dining room that conjured feelings of being a kid at the big table.

An important side note, my wife used their public restroom and the lock was tricky and, unbeknownst to her, needed special attention more than just turning the lock to the locked position. Unfortunately a man walked in on her and later we believe that person might have been an employee since he came and went from the kitchen while waiting for his takeout. The fact that you have to walk behind their counter and through a storage area to get to the bathroom made it feel a little like a gas station.

Finding the actual restaurant and entrance entrance was also very difficult. Small signage, mixed in with random businesses, and not clear from the roadway.

On the whole, the food was totally worthy of future visits, but maybe not dine in.

Passing through Chico and Creole food was calling my name. Beignet specifically.
We stopped by with our dog and were welcomed. What a beautiful patio, sitting under the magnolia tree enjoying the breeze and having lunch.
We were greeted with some wonderful apple dapple cake (from momma’s recipe). Sweet and very tasty.
I ordered the shrimp Po boy. Soft large roll with fresh lettuce and tomato. Two sauces for extra flavor.
My partner ordered the recommended Mom’s seafood gumbo – spicy. I enjoyed my sample tastes. Reminds me of New Orleans. He also got the sweet mango tea. Good stuff.
Now for the beignets, fresh and perfect with the Cafe Du Monde coffee with cream.
Recommend visiting this restaurant.

Dishes ordered, Red beans and rice/w smoked ham and fried catfish with potato. Red beans and rice was reheated from the freezer. Ham was cut from packaged sandwich slices. Rice, cold not cooked today, how hard is it to have fresh rice?! Flavor of the the beans wasn’t bad, just not fresh. I could reheat my freezer meals at home, not what I’m after when I go to a restaurant. The Catfish, breading was crispy, but too salty. The fried potato wedges were good, soft fluffy lava in the middle and crisp outer layer. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic, but the thawed and reheated food was just too underwhelming.

I was looking somewhere new to eat for lunch and Garibaldi’s Creole/Cajun Restaurant did not disappoint. This is a family owned and operated place that serves Creole/Cajun foods. Place looks and feels like it is family owned. Menu is simple. We had Chicken and sausage Gumbo, and seafood jambalaya. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. Owner/chef was enthusiastic and had worthy recommendations. Would recommend others try Garibaldi’s Creole/Cajun restaurant.

My husband and I had an amazing dining experience here! We tried the gumbo, fried catfish with fries, and the Apple Dapple cake—everything was absolutely delicious. The catfish, in particular, was the best we’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff was warm and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
