Came here for breakfast. Newly remodeled. Restaurant was very clean and bright. Lots of TVs up. Had the Bloody Mary Sandwich for breakfast. It was very good, but for $14, it should have at least come with something. If I could take a 1/2 star away for putting a sandwich on a plate by itself, I would. They have good daily specials and a decent happy hour. Live music everyday (I believe).

A hidden gem that will blow your taste buds away!!! Cannot say enough about this restaurant. Convenient location off the boardwalk, fun and clean atmosphere, and the kindest and most welcoming staff you will ever meet. Huge shout out to Brooke! The menu features speciality dishes made with the freshest ingredients and offer to-die-for weekly specials. Be sure to check them out on happy hour or on nights when they have live music. We stop in multiple times a stay. I guess you can say we are Wave addicts lol! #RideTheWave

So the restaurant is located inside the Paradise Plaza inn, on 9th street, Ocean City, MD. The food and the live entertainment was a real chill relaxing feel. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
The staff was very professional and friendly. My bar tender ( Jake ) was super amazing. If you are ever here make sure you take care of Jake. Give him and the crew a good tip.

Simply outstanding!! Was looking for a nice, relaxing place overlooking the ocean and we found it at Waves! It’s located on the second floor of the Paradise Plaza Hotel. Our drinks were perfect pours, delicious appetizers of plump & juicy wings and a wonderful wedge salad. Our entrees were burgers. Not frozen patties but homemade ground sirloin, unbelievably delicious and beautifully dished! The bonus for this incredible evening was that the burgers were half-price that night (on Wednesday’s). Please, do yourself and your taste buds a favor and check out Waves Bar and Grill. We cannot wait to return. Absolutely LOVE this place. Best staff, chef and owners in OC!!

Food is great and our waitress Gloria was the absolute sweetest!!! We went for breakfast and dinner and even though she was super busy she always had a smile on her face! It was great because we even got to play pool!

Breakfast was the BOMB!! The blueberry pancakes (fresh fruit) are AMAZING!! No turkey products available, but the ham was pretty good! Eggs Benedict – crab and a side of home fries, seem to be the family favorite!! Enjoy. We will definatley be going back!!

What a gem. I booked a last minute reservation with Paradise Plaza Hotel for a golf outing nearby this week (where the restaurant is housed on the 2nd Floor.). And nothing against the Paradise accommodations, which are wonderful, but… the Waves Cafe/9th Street Taphouse absolutely made my stay. Thanks to some lousy weather, I’ve been rained in 2 of the 4 days I am scheduled to tee-off and ended up at Waves.
First off, the happy hour specials are incredible. Half price apps and “Paradise Punch” for 3$. Awesome. But wait till you order it. It’s Michelin quality food for wawa prices. Head-on jumbo prawns??? Prosciutto Fondue???? Medium rare angus burgers on fresh brioche???? Hand-made tortillas, short rib reductions with chimichuri ??? They literally have everything right: Italian, French, Mexican, American Continental, Seafood… etc… this is seriously unreal for a neon sign “stairwell” on a boardwalk hotel.
Not to mention their outstanding service and beer/drink menu. Bartenders and waitstaff are absolute aces. Tomorrow morning I’m going for my first breakfast and will provide an update. I don’t think it’s going to disappoint.
And speaking of breakfast, these guys are absolute BEASTS when it comes to convenience/hours open. While a lot of these places are still crying COVID and gouging prices while cutting hours, these dudes are open 16-17 hours a day, 7 days a week, with great deals and a smile while they serve.
Keep it up, JJ!!! You will be PACKED every night if you stay the course.
